I usually do not have linen tablecloths to eat my brunch on. I also don't usually have live music and over the top service. But that's what we got here. Food was delicious and more startling was the regular price. An outstanding. Find. Don't miss it.

Food was quite tasty: steak, Dick, and Mexican rice for the three of us. Service was very good, especially since the waiter spoke more English than most. Quiet, lovely, and pleasant.

This is our go too stop for breakfast. Linen napkins, table clothes and the waiters are eager to fill your coffee 🤗 From the outside you would think this was very expensive, and you may feel underdressed.....but try it out, best coffee I've tasted. This dish will continue to be my favourite.

The square was jammed with a concert so we tried this place near hotel. It was a good choice with varied menu, great service, quiet atmosphere, and moderate prices.

Staying at the Zocalo central we stumbled upon this lovely place on our second night, the wine waiter allowed us several sample before choosing. He was a fun guy and allowed our poor Spanish with a smile. Decent menu, friendly service on both of our visits, well priced and if ever in town again we shall certainly eat here.

After watching celebrations in central square, we happened into Mercaderes. It was like finding an oasis in the desert. Air conditioning, cloth napkins, table cloths, professional staff and delicious food awaited us. Jonathan and Emmanuel served us well. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. It's a short walk to Palace de belle artes - a must see.

Enjoyed most of our food. Not the best Caesar salad. We wanted mineral water and they brought us a choice. A Perrier and one they stated was from Mexico. We always prefer Mexican water. When we got our bill each bottle of water was over 100 pesos! I've never paid that amount for a bottle of water-anywhere. When I asked... More

The service is very friendly. The sommelier suggested a nice Mexican white Chardonnay that was good for a light lunch wehave. The pasta with shrimps was very good and the tuna with vegetables was ok.

You will find delicious food and excellent service here near the Zocalo. I had the enchiladas tres Marias. It included three different types of enchiladas made from fresh and delicious ingredients. I still dream of this meal. My friend ordered from the breakfast menu. She enjoyed her meal as well. Service is excellent. If you are near the Cathedral, it's... More

I ate here because there was a concert at the Zocalo and it was close to impossible to get out to anywhere else. The service was excellent and the wait staff wee very attentive. I asked for my dish to be cooked well done and it was not well done. My friend was not impressed with his meal as well.... More
