This is a tourist restaurant but the food is very good and the prices reasonable. The menu has a wide variety of Mexican dishes and service is very efficient. The evening begins with a Jarocha group (music from Veracruz) followed by quite a decent Mariachi...More

There is nothing terrible special about this restaurant. The food is fine, though our dishes were very salty. At best it is a gimmicky setting that gives a flavour of Mexican cuisine and mariachi music but both lacked authenticity. All this would have been fine...More

Went there with a friend and had a nice dinner and fantastic Margaritas. The Mariachi band was enjoyable the service attentive. All in all a very nice experience. Try the "big" Margarita - it's almost as big as German beer stein.

First, the food and service are excellent, ambience is great! There is a mariachi band playing during the evening. Best place I've eaten in Mexico!

I don't know when it first opened but I know it's been around a long time. It is likely the restaurant you visited.
