My family and I have several dishes and were good. The location and the overall ambient are great. Is a good place to have a business Launch. The price is fine for what they have. Has Music and the people who attend the tables are nice and serviceable. I recommend it I used it a lot.

Went there for a business diner with foreigners expecting to be a "tourist place" but had a good surprise! It is a traditional Mexican restaurant but with a wonderfully authentic and fresh food! Nice ambience, very friendly staff, very good service and, of course, the mariachi band that boosts the Mexican atmosphere. It is so good that couples start dancing... More

Enjoyed two adjecent nights, a delicious Mexican meal. Enjoyed the food amongst Mexican families (almost no tourists). Service is good and quite fast. Enjoyed excellent Mexican red whine (Shiraz from Casa Madero). An the best of this place, is the mariachi band that boosts the Mexican atmosphere. Especially the second band that starts around 21:00. Would definitely recommend this authentic... More

Good place for a casual dinner; a Mariachi band begins to perform at around 9PM, which is in my opinion a bit late. It can be a bit loud and the acoustics of the place may require you to raise your voice to be heard over the table. The food is good; the dishes are generous and they count with... More

Villa Maria is a great traditional Mexican restaurant in the heart of Mexico City. Excellent service accompanied wonderfully fresh food. The tacos, both meat and shrimp were great and my Turkey with mole sauce was a real favorite accompanied by salsa and spicy sauces. It may be visited by tourists, but on Mother's Day in Mexico was full of locals... More

One of the best chicken mole's I've had. Not too spicy and cooked just right. This was accompanied by a great Merlot from Casa Madero. The atmosphere is bright with a lot of natural light and pastel colors.

If you find yourself near Polanco, don't hesitate to come and have dinner at this restaurant. Filled with traditional Mexican dishes, their menu is enjoyable with dishes for every kind of craves from sweet to spicy. Speaking of spicy, while the dishes are not the hottest, if you are not used to I would be careful. They also offer a... More

Visited this restaurant with some business colleagues. Food was good but nothing memorable. An enjoyable, but noisy evening.

It seems to be a popular touristic restaurant but the food is just ok, not impressive. Beware of the very noisy saloon due to the mariachis singing at the tables. Also people come to your table to take (and sell) photos and shots. So if you are looking for a touristic-Mexican experience with all stereotypes, this is ok. However if... More

We were a group of nine. They sat us 20mins before our reservation (bonus) and the service was excellent throughout our 4+ hours there. Magna margaritas didn't disappoint except for the slurpee straws provided for our on-the-rocks drinks. Spoon straws should be given only for frozen drinks. Mariachi band was great throughout the evening to include some table-side dancing. Made... More
