Guanajuato does not approach the culinary scene of DF, but La Taula is a nice approximation. Several dishes are very tasty - the best of which surely is the costillitas "La Taula" - tender bites (bone included) of pork rib with a great sauce, very flavorful. I also recommend the sopa de hongo, a flavorful mushroom soup served pozole-style with... More

Came here with some of our friends for dinner one evening. The six of us ended up having the restaurant to ourselves the whole time, as it wasn't a very busy time of year. The food and service were great, but my only complaint was that they seemed to be out of almost everything we asked for and kept trying... More

When you enter this restaurant it seems like any other Mexican restaurant, nothing fancy, nothing in its appearance gives a hint about the quality of this chef. He cookes with great passion and love for food. After having eaten pulpo a thousand times, because its one of my favorite dishes I was very pleasantly surprised by Tonio's version. grilled to... If you want to experience a variation on the theme of Mexican cuisine, you will enjoy this restaurant. Small menu offering interesting options, well presented and beautifully prepared. Subtle flavours and the octopus is to die for if you are an octopus fan.

Nice place to eat with mid-price gourmet dishes. The place has a very natural-simplistic and modern decoration, that matches its dishes: all culinary delicatessens that are sure to keep you satisfied. The portions are filling and the presentation really opens your appetite. Beware, it can get crowded some times and given that the place is small, you might find yourself... More

I have to begin with Hmmmmm...because I visited this restaurant twice within 10 days and had two totally different experiences. The first time I visited was with friends and they all enjoyed their meals...however I decided that pizza was on the menu for me. Do NOT ever order pizza at this restaurant. The dough was doughy and undercooked. I asked... More

I went to this restaurant when they first opened and couldn't wait to go back, but this trip was disappointing. My favorite dish both trips was Acela ( Swiss chard) stuffed with cheese with a tomato chili cream sauce. It was so good, we got a 2nd order. Nothing else we had stood out. We had the rib eye -... I had the trout and it was perfectly cooked and had been deboned. My friends had the pasta of the sea. I was surprised that that restaurant was not packed, bug we ate early in the evening
