Loved the location on a little bridge. Great atmosphere and good drinks. We didn't eat here, but the food others were eating looked fantastic!

One of Our favorite lunch spots. Bit of a walk from the jardin but worth it. Exc enchiladas and fresh smoothies or limonadas. Exc service. Pleasant sitting out on the bridge. Students can fill the inside resulting in a lot of noise

Ordered the hot cakes, scrabbled eggs with bacon...delicious!!! It came with OJ and coffee too. Atmosphere is relaxing and art work is beautiful. You can either eat inside with an open window view or on the balcony entryway. The employees are always nice. I've visited the city before and eaten lunch twice there and that was excellent as well!

SC is a small place in an attractive setting, right on the bridge of the Campanero. It was hard to get a table for four, but was worth the wait. The pasta was more than acceptable, the portions big, prices attractive, the wait staff hard-working and the background reggae music reflected the laid-back atmosphere of the place. Unlike a previous... More

We took friends to Cafe Santo yesterday for lunch. The food was OK, the staff friendly and efficient, but we were in the back room with art work that was beyond awful. There was a huge painting of a nude obese person, a painting of a woman's bloody hand lifting a bloody telephone (calling 911 to report being attacked?). One... More

While the food wasn't anything special, the menu had a lot of variety and the portion size was large. The leftovers provided at least two extra meals. Also, it is on a bridge overlooking a major footpath, which is a fantastic and enjoyable location.

We had seen Cafe Santo listed in our Lonely Planet book, and also we met some people who worked at the university in Guanajuato, and they recommended it for a simple, friendly dinner. We ended up eating there for two dinners during our visit, simple Mexican and international foods. Not fine dining, but friendly, clean, good food, 1.2 litre beers,... More

This place has no regard for good-coffee culture. They serve cappuccinos on glass cups instead of pottery cups - and they don't understand why this is wrong. Places like this should be avoided and should be forbidden to use "café" in their name.

I highly recommend you eat here - or at least walk up the ramp to have a drink at twilight to enjoy the view of the street below.

Came here on recommendation from friends. Great spot to eat if you can get one of the tables on the famous bridge. Delicious Chilaquiles and the fruit and yoghurt smoothies are delicious with very reasonable pricing. Tried to come back on Sunday for breakfast but they were closed. Hours on the door said they opened at midday so went back... More
