Very good coffee in Guanajuato!! You can buy the beans, whole, or ground to your specifications, which are vacuum-packed on the spot. Beans come in 5+ different roasts. Wonderful recuerdo if you have to leave GTO, but it's very sad when you get to the end of the last bag of Cafe Tal coffee beans!! Coffee shop is also a... More

Best coffee place in Guanajuato. Came here three times during our stay. Excellent quality coffee beverages and very friendly service. Had the Chocortado, Cafe Frappe, and Cappuccino.

I'll preface this by saying that this is probably the most negative review I've ever written. I'm not a negative guy, but ... GEEZ. If you can't run a simple cafe, then folks deserve to know about it--right?!? What's wrong with Cafe Tal? What could possibly warrant such a poor review? Let's see; let me count the ways ... *... I recently spent two weeks in Guanajuato, working remotely. Cafe Tal is quiet, has strong Wifi, and serves amazing coffee. I don't know how, but it's actually creamy (without adding cream). The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling. There are rooms on both sides of a small alley, two floors on each side. Each room has windows that let... More

The title says it all...except add, good coffee, the rare refill, wifi, street scene views, a nice varied fruit plate yogurt, a mega hot coco that was all chocolate and all for about 5$ US.

Probably the only normal coffee I've been able to find in the States or Mexico. Taste of coffee was OK, not a bean I'll remember, and it wasn't strong enough. Soy milk was still on the sweet side. Coffee wasn't hot enough. If you're a coffee enthusiast or from somewhere like Australia where coffee is excellent, this would be average... More

We were just wandering the streets and stumbled into this cafe...literally (if you walk down the alley ways of Guanajuato you know what I mean). TAL the cat was sitting outside the front door and wandered in. They were tasting beans and we were drawn in. Best cappuccino we have had in Mexico. This is not a big milky type,... More
