We came for a team dinner and it is hard to put in words the stunning array of flavors and textures as we went through the courses. The mango ceviche, the soups and the mole. Let's not forget the corn ice cream for dessert. Very memorable and highly recommended!

Looking for the best Chile en Nogada (a typical Mexican dish) served throughout September to celebrate Mexico's independence. I remembered Sacormonte restaurant. I even helped decorate it almost 3 decades ago. We did not go wrong!! The best Chile en Nogada and it is ...Thank God.... served all year round, with real castillan nut cream sauce and the old fashioned... More

One of the best mexican food I've ever had: CHILES EN NOGADA! At Sacromonte they are a specialty, and they can only be ordered between July and September. I also loved the QUESADILLAS with roses. The place is very nice, quiet and typical. Strongly suggested!

A traditional Mexican restaurant with good range of Mexican dishes, average value I would say; service also of the traditional kind - mature gentlemen in no hurry; in fact, some might say distinctly slow). My robalo (sea bass) was OK, nothing special. Ambience is very much folkloric with bullfighting motifs (not my cup of tea, I'm afraid); all to the... More

So I was in Guadalajara for business trip and the host wanted to bring me to this old Mexican restaurant. Coming from Asian country, I must say this restaurant really live up to its expectation. You can really feel the old Mexican touch here, with bullfight decoration on the wall. Staffs service is perfect, very friendly. For starter, the host... More

We went two times in our stay to this restaurant. Tasteful decoration, good service and some outstanding dishes. It is worth it¨s money and I think we will come back at one of our next visits to Guadalajara. They have valet parking, so you can go by car without the problem to find a parking space.

Went there with some colleagues from Mexico. Very nice dining hall. Friendly waiters took our orders. We tried some different specialties. All tasted good. The portion sizes are quite large. Not so much recommended for vegetarians. We tried a special beer with Maggi. Not really my favorite.

This is a great restaurant! The staff was so helpful and nice! After our meal, they helped us get a taxi. We had dinner and during dinner time there was a piano player playing music. For an appetizer I got the queso fresco with strawberry aioli with rose petals. For my main entree I got a top sirloin, which was... More

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant with tacos rice and beans. If you're looking for that go to La Chata. This cuisine is definitely gourmet. It was delicious especially the robalo (bass) and the chili enojados. Stuffed chili poblano with meat covered with walnut sauce). Given the strength of the dollar we found the prices to be reasonable. The... More
