The service is very warm and professional; most hospitable and welcoming. The food is exceptional. Kept going back to the camarones Agave but the mole is a taste treat as well. The shrimp were truly cooked to perfection; some of the best we had in Zihua.

Found this restaurant on Tripadvisor. Got a reservation for an early dinner. Margarita was great. Husband ordered the mashed potato chile relleno, wonderful. Wait staff excellent. Tried the Mango Creme dessert, out of this world creamy, yummy. Will definitely visit again.

El Agave is one of the best restaurants in Zihuatanejo IMO. Leo the owner is also a great host. I've fined there with friends the last two trips and am looking forward to visiting again next year. Tell Leo that Roberto G. sent you. Roberto G. 🇲🇽🍷🇨🇦

Enjoying the diversity of restaurants in this coastal town and this restaurant has quality ingredients served in a unique local menu. They have integrated something different to the ordinary. The service is excellent and the bartender knows how to make a cocktail. Go for mescal, tequila-- been there done that. We wanted to go on Sunday night but they were... More

Ten of us dined at El Agave for dinner one evening. The service was super. Waiter was attentive and fast. Good Margaritas and wines by the glass. The BUTTER was a hit. Peppers in butter, would have never thought of that, but the basket of bread quickly disappeared. Our fish was expertly prepared and although we didn't need it, the... More

A beautiful oasis with an art gallery and the best margaritas I have had in Mexico. This is a welcoming place for couples and families alike. Service is impeccable and the food is delicious and elegantly prepared. Don't miss this and bring pesos as they don't accept credit cards.

Tucked away on the second floor a retail building is this fine small restaurant. Food is tasty and well presented. Highly recommended

If you are in Zihua you must go here for dinner! It's on the second floor so you overlook the street, has nice ambiance and if you have room for dessert, it's delicious! Don't miss this place and Carlos and his brother Leonel are very gracious~
