They have a fairly wide range of foods, and all was great, We tried a lot of different items and flavors. Desserts are excellent.

We were looking for dinner on a Sunday night and found this gem! The most impressive part was the food, we had the prawns and the mahi mahi that were grilled and presented wonderfully. The margaritas were fresh squeezed, the wine list was better than most, the lattes (cappuccinos) were very good and the service was attentive, friendly, passionate and... More

We went to Ita the most during our 1wk trip. Seating outside or inside. The owners, Victoria & her husband (the chef) are lovely people. Good coffee, good food. Love the melted cheese dip & guacamole, & they had wine which was nice. I liked the location, even though it's where few cars drive up & down, it's good people... More

We stopped by here for breakfast and had some amazing scrambled egg enchiladas with a bean sauce. Very good food, perfect portion, reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.

From the outside, this restaurant appears to be quite small but it is just the opposite. We had shrimp and steak tacos. There were four tacos to a plate instead of the usual three. The margaritas were tasty. We will be back.

We walked down the street and decided to have dinner here. I had lobster - husband had tuna. Both meals had tasty vegetables and mashed potatoes. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere, very friendly workers. One of our best meals.

When my husband and I ate dinner here, we were told it had been open for only 2 weeks. The new owner was very attentive and knowledgeable about cuisine and wines. I had grilled lobster tail. My husband had Mahi Mahi (perfectly cooked). Both dishes were very tasty. The desserts (home made) were outstanding--Passion Fruit creme brulee and chocolate sorbet... More

Author's note: Originally written and published for Alaska Women Speak, this is the abbreviated story about my cooking lesson with Ita, and her very fine family. Just three days before, my husband and I were eating breakfast at Ita’s patio when I noticed the little brochure for her cooking school that offered a lesson on how to make Chiles En... More

On the spur of the moment I decided to find a cooking class in Zihuatanejo and the ladies Ita - a mother and daughter team were happy to oblige! Mama Ita put a basket in my arms and marched me off to the mercado where we shopped for our meal and she was wonderful giving me all the Spanish names... More
