Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Fresh and beautifully presented. Best salad ever and tender moist fish. Loved this place!

La Gula is a gem and worth a visit. Wonderful welcome and service. Well cooked and delicious food and a lovely, albeit non view, setting. It's always been a favorite!

This is our favorite restaurant in "Z"!!!!!!!!!!! We tell everyone that we meet about it because it's one of those ones that not everyone knows about. We want them to NEVER go out of business so we advertise for them!!! They are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

While specializing in slow food, I didn't find it overly slow. It was just right. Everything was made-to-order and excellent, but the speed was perfect for a nice sit-down dinner. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff exceptional. Their drinks were made extremely well, and quite economically too. Especially considering the quality. We had about 12 menu items between... Great place...2nd floor open restaurant above a quaint neighborhood. Not a place if you are in a hurry but great for a relaxing dinner. Great dinner presentation.

Excellent beautifully presented fresh sea food. Lovely second floor open-air balcony. Creative chef with serious skills! Very professional staff. Happy to visit twice in our week in Zihua.

intrigued by the slow food sign and the menu we decided to give it a shot. Lovely space upstairs on Adelita street. Friendly, humble service, excellent interesting food and an enjoyable evening for a reasonable price. Provides a nice alternative to the sameness of many Zihuat menus.

We have been to La Gula on previous visits and returned our first night this time. It is easy to miss as there are many along this street, and you have to walk up stairs to get there. Great atmosphere and excellent service. All of the meals we ordered ! Nice music and quiet pleasant meal.

My wife and I went with three other friends to La Gula last night for dinner. The ambiance is wonderful. The service is good. When the food was served it looked beautiful. Really great presentation. But-I had to send my pork chop back to be warmed up because it was cold when I received it. My wife was too polite... More
