Excellent service, food is good and reasonably priced. We stopped for some Chicken Quesadillas and a beer. If you're in the neighborhood, its' worth checking out.

I love the food. I love the place. You can hear the river running. They treat you like you are family. Hugs. I'll go back each time I come Kay Lilley

All the food is great and tasty. Tequila is very overpriced. Try the flank steak. Outdoor seating with nice natural surroundings.

Part of the charm of this restaurant is the adventure getting there. We took the bus through neighborhoods that I have never traveled through, past Paso Ancho to Paso de Guyabo, where the bus stops “end of the line”, and head by foot about 1 kilometer to the restaurant. This is a butterfly preserve and there are so many varieties... More

The BBQ meats are all excellent and the people awesome! They are dog friendly and always give my girl a bowl of water.

Cascading river view, clean and friendly! Full bar and excellent house chef. Guac is fresh and chunky. Palapa shade with clean facilities. Will be coming back for sure.

If you would like to get off the beaten track then Moro Paraiso is for you. The setting is serene next to the river and you never know what you'll see, cows one day, egrets the next, or horses tied up in the front, and maybe a few ATV's on a tour stop for lunch. I dined with two friends... More

We like to bike and hike up the river Cuale, and we've passed by this restaurant several times and never stopped. Last weekend, we decided to grab a cerveza and tostadas after our hike, and we were delighted with the peaceful location, excellent service, and tostadas. I had the tostada de camaron and my husband had the tostada de callo.... More

We stopped in this place (right beside the river) as part of an ATV tour. We ordered our meals and then were offered a free tequila tasting by our waiter. He let us taste a great variety of flavored ones that we had never experienced before and entertained us with stories and comments. Afterwards, you can buy a bottle of... More

Moro Paraiso is a nice relaxing place overlooking the Cuale River. The waiter (Pancho) took very good care of us. The food was excellent. If you are driving to Canopy River, it's a nice stop on the way.
