Casa 46 is located in the most charming area of Mazatlán: the historic center. The restaurant is located on the top floor, offering stunning views of the square. The atmosphere is perfect to enjoy alone, as a couple or as a family.
The service was exceptional, thanks to our waiters, Sergio and Lidia, who were always attentive to our needs. The meal is served in four courses, as part of the Pueblo Bonito all-inclusive. Although the portions are a good size and quite filling. We were six people, so we ordered different dishes to try a little of everything.
The drinks and desserts were also delicious. I definitely recommend Casa 46 and will definitely return the next time I visit Mazatlán.

The dishes I got were excellent and the service was amazing. Sergio and Antonio served us and their service was impeccable.
I am a vegetarian and the restaurant staff went over and beyond to make sure I could get dishes with no meat/fish/poultry.
The view from the restaurant is one of the best. You look out into the beautiful Plaza Machado through ceiling to floor glass walls.

Excellent option for dinner as a couple, we were cordially attended by Ulises, Jesus and Fernanda. We hired the romantic dinner package, all the dishes were delicious and everyone's attention made our dinner a resounding success. If you go to Mazatlán and want to have dinner in the historic center, Casa 46 in Pueblo Bonito is your best option.

We've been before and enjoyed it but this time the food was creative but strange. It was our annuversary so we had a piece of cheesecake. It had caramelized hybiscus on top and I was sick for 24 hours. I won't go back. It's cheap to eat in Mexico but when you pay 124$ to be sick you remember it!

We went last year, food and service were mediocre. Went again last after hearing staff at the resort saying how much everything improved. What a regret.
I ordered a “New York” steak, it def was not a New York cut. They cut the steak in half, and smother it in sauce. Ordered medium-rare came out like tougher and drier than leather.
If you are going to call yourself a fine dining establishment, then get the fundamentals right. Of the 4 of us, 2 received dinner salad before the main entree was served, and the other 2 came out at the same time of the meal. 2 of our dishes was supposed to be served with a side sauce, sauce came out 20 minutes after the entree was served.
Servers seemed more concerned with wiping dust of their clothes and fixing their hair than paying attention to what is going on.
Do yourself a favor and just go to Pedro and Lola which is also in the same plaza.
What a waste of valuable vacation time and money.

An extraordinary place in old Mazatlán, its period facilities very well decorated with an incredible view of the square from its terrace, the attention of all the first-class staff. On our occasion we were assisted by Fernanda, Oscar and Armando, always with excellent recommendations , the fabulous dinner and the very original and extraordinary desserts! very pleasant experience.

Overlooking the Plaza Machado we have had 3 fantastic “slow” meals over the last few weeks. These folks have an attention to detail that makes a night out something to remember. My favorite is the ravioli with a lovely Sauvignon Blanc. Our waiter Francisco makes the evening very calm and relaxed. We highly recommend Casa 46 if you want a high end dinner at a reasonable price. Thank you Anna Maria and all the staff for welcoming us each time to Casa 46.

As guests of Pueblo Bonito Resorts, this restaurant is part of the all inclusive for $15 each. It is also open to the public. It is located upstairs in a former colonial mansion right overlooking Plaza Machado. My wfe and I are vegetarians, but were with a couple who are serious meat eaters. We were all extremely happy with the food and service. I can't really comment on the value since it was a flat fee for us. (read my review of the Pueblo Bonito if you are interested in an all inclusive stay). The locations is perfect on the Plaza, but it might be a little noisey if there is an event, which is often. The patio is mostly enclosed with glass, so it is still quiet. It is a $150 peso taxi ride from the Golden Zone each way, and it's a fairly long ride. So use the washroom one last time before you head back! Regarding WiFi - as soon as you enter a restuarant get your server to enter the passwore - problem solved, and they are happy to help.

We have enjoyed Casa 46 for the last six years! We love the ambience, the food, the service, especially on Sunday evenings when the Machada is busy!
This visit we saw a different menu. We miss a few of our favorites, but enjoyed trying new selections. The food continues to be outstanding. The service this visit is less than the norm for Casa 46. We saw no familiar faces; we saw no one who spoke or understood much English and I am limited w Spanish. It was very chilly and I let them know that, she seemed to understand, but we were glad we brought a sweater! We enjoy the rustic bread and tomato butter - this time we were not served it, though other tables around us had it. We received an addl appetizer that we did not order, but gladly enjoyed and paid for -chalking it up to poor communication between myself and the waiter. Our espresso is usually presented on a rectangular marbletray decorated w coffee beans, etc. this time they handed us an espresso cup, not even a saucer or demitasse spoon - it was delicious as usual, but lacked the special presentation that we’ve come to expect (and enjoy!). They did not even offer cream. Our water was never filled, I finally asked and they brought water. I would have liked to have a conversation about our service, but never made contact w anyone there who I felt I could have a successful conversation with.
In summation, we’ll visit Casa 46 on our next trip. Hopefully this experience is isolated and the service is back to norm!

Excellent restaurant in Mazatlan. Food was superb. Staff was very friendly. The location in Machado Square gives such an ambiance to this restaurant. Alot of history to the building it is in. Prices were somewhat higher but for the caliber of this restaurant it was well worth it. Definitely would go back!

With a new chef comes a new menu, minus a couple of favorites but still delicious. And the setting remains gorgeous. Be sure to get the salsa made at your table, especially if done by Omar, Junior. He prepares it to your taste and it is so fresh and delicious, a real treat
