I visited El Presidio based on many reviews on Trip Advisor as well as locals suggestions. This place was phenomenal. Make reservations! The atmosphere is great, I love the look of the place and our food was to die for. We had appetizers, drinks, entree and dessert and still was a decent price - and a good one compared to... More

Our party of six wanted a special dinner for our son-in-law's birthday. We found it at El Presidio. It was recommended by a group of gastronomic specialists who were at our resort for their annual convention. They all recommended El Presidio. They were right. Great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and excellent service.

When we finished our guided Segway Tour we asked our guide, who was a native to Mazatlán, where to eat with the locals. He took us to the El Presidio and where we ever impressed. The atmosphere is a killer! It was so relaxing and the food was so very good. The price was reasonable and all was very clean,... More

Order the sea bass! We had it prepared 3 different ways - in ceviche, in an herb-crusted topped way, and swimming in a shrimp broth. Absolutely incredible. In our 5 days in Mazatlan, we had to come back twice and would have come again if we had another day or two in town.

Went there with friends who were in Maz for the first time. We tried a few appetizers just so we could sample different items and shared 2 dinners. The food was very good and the service was very impressive. The setting inside-courtyard is difficult to find words for, you just have to experience it.

The food scene in the Centro District has exploded and our trip to El Presidio has now given us a new favorite dining experience. Our ONLY issue is that their menu is probably too big and encourages you to order 3 courses when 2 if enough. We all left painfully stuffed. A definite must try.

8 of us dined here at about 7pm on November 17th, 2016. The restaurant itself was in an inner courtyard of what was probably a family home at one time. It was softly lit with trees and vines, it was a really serene, kinda cool place. All 8 of us had to use our iphones to see the menu, it... More
