We had dinner here on our last night in Mazatlan. The restaurant was recommended by a couple we met who were from Canada. The atmosphere was very nice with several small areas including a small outdoor garden section. The food and service were top notch. Very wide and creative menu with a great wine list. I would highly recommend this... More

Over the last year, Mazatlan has become home to many new and exciting restaurants that have truly transformed the food scene from barely tolerable to an amazing adventure. Water's Edge is at the top of this list. Chef Alistair and his wife, Tracey, work hard to ensure that they use only locally sourced vegetables, and fish caught daily by Mazatlan's... More

Four of us had dinner last night and loved it. The ambiance is delightful, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. For starters we had a small green salad, beet salad and a Hawaiian Chicken. All three were great. Entrees were Thai curried prawns, mustard salmon, and the tuna special of the day. Everyone ate... Water's Edge is a mainstay for locals of all types to enjoy a diverse menu thoughtfully prepared. The owners are pillars in the community and extend their culinary expertise with frequent offerings, like "taco night" when Alister takes a small group on a tour of local street fare (really authentic), and "Margarita Wednesdays" when the locals gather to meet with... Water's Edge has a wonderful, inventive menu enhanced by farm-to-table produce and fresh ingredients. Canadian owners Tracy and husband-chef Alistair always receive us as old friends and are attentive to our every need. We love dinners there, but just as often stop in for appetizers, cocktails or to listen to music. Located in the historic center, my adult son and... More

I have walked by Waters Edge hundreds of times but never stopped in. Had friends down and decided to give it a try as I had heard good things about it. When we walked through the main entry bar area into the back room and the patio area I was stunned at how nice the restaurant was. We ordered our... More

The Waters Edge has one the best lunches in Centro. Not only is the restaurant well appointed, elegant, and clean but they hire and retain the best bi-lingual staff. They run a lunch special that includes a main course and it comes with a drink. The food prepared here is locally sourced, organic when possible and cooked from scratch. You... More

This was our third visit to Water's Edge and yet again, our meal was exceptional! They use the freshest of local ingredients and each plate is beautifully plated - a feast for the eyes and tastebuds! Our group of 4 enjoyed the gyoza, ahi salad, ahi tower, beet and goat cheese salad, house apple lettuce salad, Thai prawns in a... More
