I went there for lunch with my friends. Lunch was mediocre at best. My grilled shrimp Lunch special) were okay but the pasta was mush. So was my friend's pasta. He said, "Never again." But hey, if you're in town for a week or two and you want to have beers and margaritas and people watch in the tourist zone,... More

We had the garlic shrimp and fettuchini Alfredo. The dish was excellent, served with a small salad and a homemade bun. Next to the shrimp the sweet bun was excellent. After complimenting our waiter on the tasty bun we were served another one, hot out of the oven. We arrived at happy hour so we had a gin and tonic.... More

Wife & I came off the HAL Westerdam Dec. 2016. Arrived at Gringo Lingo Restaurant via pulmonia(taxi.) Was pleasantly welcomed in by head Mesero curbside straight from the taxi! We chose to be seated outside as the weather was perfect. Ice old drinks came quick, Pacifico of course. Lots of homemade chips & oh so good salsa! Did I mention... More

Open air, with meat on the menu as well as the ubiquitous and delicious local shrimp. It can be a bit noisy with the live bands.

3 bites into our mediocre meal the waiter set up for 2 male dancers to come and dance in the space where I was. I literally had to move out of my chair to keep from getting hit. I got the waiters attention to tell him how horribly rude and unacceptable this was and he indicated that I should just... More

They offer a large variety of specials (ribs/beers, etc). I was alone, so ordered off the menu. The chips & fresh salsa were good. The sandwich was a bit sparce. It was all right, but I would not go back.

This used to be a great place to eat, drink & be merry with a great wait staff that worked perfectly under pressure. Now, even on a weekend night, dead zone should be the name. Wait staff ok when it should be great (no diners should make it much easier).

We always go here for the BBQ ribs, best in town. It is a local, quaint little place just a short walk from the hotel. I love this place.

I've eaten at this place years ago and it was good then as it was on my recent visit. Service was good with friendly smiles and the food was delicious as I remembered it from previous visits. The down side is the decor is almost exactly the same as I remembered it also...some fresh paint and flooring would brighten things... More
