I have been here two times in a period of a week. It is excelent!! The garlic octopus is just amazing! The best one I have ever had in a long long time. If you visit huatulco this stop is a must! Believe me.

We went here on a recommendation and very glad we did. The food was great, in fact my mahi mahi was one of the best I've ever eaten. The other two had the seafood soup and the garlic and butter shrimp which were also excellent. The service was great and not expensive at all. We would recommend this place for... More

Fresh seafood and a helpful owner always make this a great choice for an excellent meal. Their snails, squid and shrimp dish sauteed with garlic is my favorite selection.

The menu is limited. They do one thing and they do it right: simple, impeccably fresh seafood. Tuna, octopus, snapper, shrimp. Grilled with a variety of sauce options. Served with seasoned rice, tomato/avocado/onion, tortillas and homemade salsa. It's a family run business and a great vibe; we felt like we had been welcomed into someone's home for dinner. They were... More

This place the food was so delicious, the attention, the service, the food incredible, everything was fresh. My husband and brother had a seafood soup with a whole little fish on it...I myself had the tuna steak incredibly yummy. We also had huge shrimp platter. Food was very tasty, and fresh. 100% recommend. And will be going back.

Went there for lunch. They are recommended as number one seafood restaurant in La Crucecita. We had a good seafood soup, similar with a bouillabesse and grilled fish. Everything was well cooked and served. The price was very decent for the quality of the food. We might return.

This was our first visit to El Grillo Marinero and we were very impressed with the food! I had the garlic shrimp and my husband had the mahi mahi and both were very good. Really reasonable prices too.....eight of us dined for about the cost of two at home!!

I fish a great deal and when out there it always seems that the men from the restaurant are also fishing...the fish is fresh and prepared in a manner that would be hard to match,

This place was recommended by several employees of the Secrets resort when we asked for a good place to eat in town. It is a hole in the wall with very little atmosphere but the seafood is out of this world! I had the shrimp in garlic butter (everything is very lightly sauced so don't be afraid) and the rest... 4 of us went to this small restaurant about 4 blocks from the town square in La Crucecita. We had made a reservation, which is recommended as it was busy. Service was good. We all got the catch of the day, which was Mahi Mahi. It was served with rice and vegies. It was very good. A little too much... More
