Family run operation just a couple blocks from the square in La Crucecita open 1 pm to 8 pm that serves seafood and fish fresh every day. Shrimp, octopus, snails and more that satisfy the tastes of the whole family. Service is attentive and very helpful.

Let me start my saying, I was not very excited to go here. I usually find when all the locals push a restaurant it's usually overrated and average at best. This restaurant is nothing to look at, very basic Mexican decor. The food was amazing, very fresh and seasoned to perfection. Lobster, mahi mahi, octupus in different sauces. All were... More

Great place for your main meal (comida: 2 to 4 p.m.). The menu seems like any other in town, but it sure is deliciously prepared. When you see a place packed with locals you know it's good. Try the fish of the day al ajo. Super!

We had dinner here. We had the garlic shrimp. It was very good. I would recommend. It was like eating under a big gazebo.

The Mexican experience. Some of the best seafood I've had anywhere. Mahi Mahi, Octopus, Red Snapper and a seafood melody. Corona to wash it down and Mescal to make the evening, uhm, interesting. Oh and by the way, some of the hottest salsa on the planet. 5 people 4 dishes, 4 beers, and free Mescal samples ... 770 pesos. What?... More

This is the place to go for fresh fish caught each day by the owners, they even offer fishing for a very reasonable price. Not much atmosphere but you won't find better fish. It closes at 8 pm so plan around that.

Visited El Grillo Marinero on December 10, 2016. Food, service, and beer were fantastic. We enjoyed grilled mahi mahi and yellow fin tuna fillets in garlic butter. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

Simply prepared, well-priced, friendly service. Packed the whole time we were there, but worth waiting for. The server we had spoke English, and he was fun. Be aware that there is literally nothing on the menu for you if you don't eat seafood, but if you enjoy fresh seafood, you're in for a treat. I had mahi-mahi with garlic butter,... More
