This is the place for a great local breakfast and see all that's going on at central town square. The service is friendly but you have to be patient. Awesome breakfast under the big trees. Very close to the cruise ship piers,

We came across this wonderful setting one morning. It was an oasis in the park that exuded a "Calm" that I hadn't felt in a long long time! Sat down a few meters from the restaurant on a couple of chairs and didn't really say much , just took it all in. A waiter came out shortly after we sat... More

Hola... we had breakfast here. I asked the waiter if they had eggs and ham or something similiar...was not on the menu but he offered a 'paqueta' (package) with coffee for $100 pesos each. I had a small omlette and wife ham & eggs. Both came with small serving of very tasty refried beans and small fruit plate. The food... More

My wife loves chocolate so we stopped by twice to have chocolate cake and tea. It's in the town square in Santa Cruz so there are lots of people out strolling and enjoying the warm weather. By the way...the cake was excellent.

This little cafe is located in the park in the middle of Santa Cruz. It is shaded by large trees and a great place to people watch as many people cut through and around the park to get where they are going. I can't vouch for the food as I just had a cold drink, but it is a good... More

Beautiful outdoor zocolo setting. Good coffee, food and friendly staff. Often has evening shows and nightly music. Owners are heavily involved in local activities supporting worthy causes. Great place to meet friends, or just sit and enjoy the birds and people watch.
