Go to Pozole with the locals. Make sure you order the Botonas. They will have music and more. Make sure you sit by a fan because it can get really warm. Owner could not be nicer or more welcoming

A full chicken breast, it's huge, smothered in Mole sauce, and certainly enough for two, even though the price is less than $10. This was my first try of mole, so I don't think I'm a good evaluator of what is good and not. Another review said this was the best mole in town. I would have to say that... More

We come here at least once a month and the food is without doubt, among the very best Mexican food to be found in Acapulco. The charming owner Tere watches over her kitchen like a hawk, maintaining quality, flavour and consistency. The stuffed chillies are outstanding, but then again so is everything else on the menu. This is a laid... More

By visiting Casa de Tere Restaurant you will experience the unique mexican cuisine...though it isn't a fancy place...it is clean and the prices are accesible. The owner is always found there to see that the customers get the best service possible....Do not miss to try some of these dishes...pozole, caldo verde, mole rojo and their delicious chiles rellenos.

Casa de Tere is a tradional restaruant with real and authentic Mexican food. Tere is usually there keeping everything to her standards. Prices are really good and it is reasonably clean, although it is not fancy. Food is great. On Thursdays you cannot miss the Pozole with Botana, only served on Thursdays. All the food is fresh. They make their... More

I had this restaurant on my dining list for over 3 years before getting the chance to finally dine here on a traditional Pozole thursday. The restaurant itself is off the beaten path but most all cab drivers will know the name as it is very popular with the locals. I cannot compare this Pozole to any other as I... More

Probably the best real Mexican food in town. In a little back street , it is well worth the effort to find this authentic, friendly cheap little restaurant which is well-loved by locals. Not open for dinner.
