CHihuahua is recognized to be one of the worlds best places for steaks and cheese. Definetively this is one example of a Great Steak House. Located in a beautiful Big House ( That´s why they call it Casona ) that use to be a Goverment Luxury Place. Great Service, Excellent Steaks and Wine

While traveling thru the colonial cities of MX for 6 weeks, we spent a couple of days visiting Chihuahua before boarding The Copper Canyon train! It's here that we discovered a really special restaurant- La Casona - we've dubbed it an oasis in a sea of mediocrity! If you happen to be in town, perhaps as we were, to board... More

When you get to the restaurant you cannot believe your eyes. Beautiful old house with cantera and a patio inside that it's really beautiful. Extremely good food Specially the meat. Very good service.

Excellent food and wine in a relaxing and calm environment. This establishment is what a tired traveler craves. Food and wine served perfectly with very attentive service in peaceful setting that allows easy conversation. The appetizers, salad, steak and dessert were perfection.

La Casona is a great place for a romantic evening or a more formal lunch. The meat in Chihuahua is famous, as such, I would recommend any meat dish. The atmosphere is classic and the ambiance classic as the building is a classic. This is a desert beauty and a must see while in the north.

All the plates we ordered were great, the service was also first class and the building is amazing. I would totally come back. It's not a cheap place but if you're looking for a nice and kind of fancy Mexican meal it's an ideal restaurant to visit.
