Feel this place has changed. Lobster was undercooked and prime rib was overcooked. Service was fair. This place is no longer the place to go especially for the price. Our table was dirty and a few chairs were broken.

Our bill for 4 people was $185 dollars??
My wife just had a smal bowl of bean soup,a lemonade to drink.
I had 3 chicken tacos.
No drinks at all.
My friend had some kind of meat that was very tough! Couldn't chew it.
Our other friend had a fried fish and a lemonade.
I couldn't recommend this place.

Nice lunch on the sun drenched patio overlooking the beach. Portions are large for lunch so we split coconut shrimp and a shrimp fra diavlo dishes among four adults and it was plenty. Each came with a choice of soup or salad. Friendly and impeccable service at a reasonable price.

We spent 2 months in the area this summer and visited Dymitris at least once a week. The food is excellent, the views are breathtaking and the servers are extremely friendly and accommodating to special dietary needs. It is casual and comfortable and one is never rushed. All in all, the best dining experience from Rosarito to Ensenada. Riki is a great server!

Stopped for a quick beer.
Twice the price of local beer. 80 pesos for 1 beer is qay over the top. Daylight robbery. I imagine that had we askes the price before ordering it would have been 40 pesos.

I have been blessed to travel to 70 countries and 7 continents and this is my favorite restaurant in the world. I own a place in Rosarito Mexico as a heat escape from Phoenix. Love the food, ambience , roosters walking around, live music most nights, on the ocean.
16 buddies came over for a golf trip ( a couple years ago) from my club and they still talk about the trip and this restaurant and these guys are all successful. They bug me to do another trip.
Very reasonable prices, fresh Tortillas. If you don't like this place you need a humility test for its basic but sooo good. Owned by an american. You can't eat the rack of ribs, so much food.

A group of friends and I went to Rosarito, MX for 3 days and 2 nights. Of couple of our friends suggested this restaurant and we started as soon as we arrived in Rosarito with drinks and appetizers. It was so fun and so good, we ate every.single.meal there! Highly recommend on all points - food, service/servers, live music, atmosphere, view, friendliness and everything you would think of beautiful Mexico!

Great place to have breakfast, lunch or Dinner. Some of the best prices and the food is excellent. Always get the Filet OMG is it so good! Make sure you get the Black Bean Soup hands down the best soup ever!

This place has been a frequent stop for many, many years. It is gone. They bulldozed it. Next door is still there and the hotel rooms last I looked are still there. But the restaurant, bar, kitchen and outdoor dining is gone!!

We have a vacation home in Baja and have our favorite places to eat and drink. A friend recently raved about La Fonda and their delicious prime rib dinner. We decided to try it for something different for our anniversary. Perfect place. Delicious food, unbeatable view, great wine. Make sure to try the Mexican coffee to conclude your meal. We liked it so much, we’re going again tonight!

It had been a number of years since we have been to La Fonda with friends and at the time it was good
Yesterday we went for an early dinner and upon biting into the chips they tasted like they were left over from the weekend almost like biting into Rubber!
My wife asked the server if the pork was not spicy as she does not like spicy and he said It was not hot/spicy
Not only was it spicy but it did not taste like fresh pork
I had fish tacos which was just ok and our beans tasted like they had been sitting on the stove for days
The building is in terrible shape (railings especially)and the service was not good (we were only people in the restaurant and I had to find server to refill our drinks
We will not be returning!

service was great, food was average.
Don't stop here to eat if you don't have cash. You will not be told that they handle cash ONLY. There is a very small sign that we missed. We saw it on our way out.

La Fonda is a very festive place. We enjoyed Christmas dinner in this pretty spot. We all ordered the lobster which was quite good. It was served with mashed potatoes which didn’t seem right.

We stopped for drinks and to wait for our Air BnB hosts. It is a beautiful place with extensive ocean views and a big fireplace to warm our spirits. The margaritas were PERFECTO!!!!!
