Not eaten here for a while. Now u beer fairly new management and I have to say we really enjoyed our meal. From the generous shared fish platter to our mains of rump steak and lamb rump we loved it. All priced reasonably as well.

Five meals purchased , five empty plates! Proper home cooked food, roast potatoes were crunchy on outside and fluffy inside, vegetables were cooked perfectly and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Would without doubt recommend the Sunday lunch to friends and family.

My wife daughter and her husband celebrated a wedding anniversary here in August. We all had the Tapas which The Old Crown has gained a reputation for excellent Spanish types of dishes

Visited this lovely country pub with a friend a month or so back. Very reasonably priced food and drink. Good ales and beer on tap. Both my friend and I had a starter and main and drink and the bill came to under £40.

Very nice pub which did a fantastic Ploughmans Lunch! You could have either a meaty one or cheese. They were enormous and cost £10 each. I could have done with a half-size, so ended up bringing half of my cheese home with me. Pleasant atmosphere...More

There are a few tables in front of windows. I'm sure when you book the girls will sort you out a nice bright table if you ask them.
