Some of the power had failed and internal lights were not working, but it was fine as I could dine on my own, while others spent their time outside in the cold. I selected a coffee and a sausage roll. Both were fine, but not memorable, although the sausage roll had a spicy tomato chutney and had corn and peas to bulk it up.

Today we went to Dad and Dave’s for a simple and quick breakfast and were not disappointed. Service was prompt and our meals were delivered quickly. It was delicious and and the sour bread was just perfect ! We had chai and hot chocolate. Just Delish!

Does a pretty decent coffee, and the staff really friendly as well. Conveniently located near the railway station as well.

I bought a breakfast roll and a coffee and was told to go outside to collect my coffee in the rain. Whilst I waited for my breakfast roll, a bit rude if you ask me?
As I have to be back at my desk to take calls I took my breakfast back to work to eat at my desk to also eat while I have tablets that need to be taken with food, I opened my roll only to discover it was stone cold and stale. I didn't have time to go back to get a fresh one. so ate a little bit and threw the rest out, Not worth the money.
I've been before and everyone is normally lovely and on track. Not today I won't be going back.

Stopped in for brunch while visiting some friends, we sat outside with two babes in high chairs. Staff were amazingly helpful and very supportive of the vegan options. Brunch was amazing, corn fritters loaded with avocado and deliciousness! Coffee was great. Banana bread was to die for. Definitely recommend.

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat on my way to the train station. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I ended up getting a caramel slice and it was to die for. Best I’ve had in a while!

Choice of coffees and cakes and hot food. There's a barista who's happy to use my BYO cup, a cook - I had a very large sausage roll with lots of sauce one lunchtime. Another time a caramel muffin as I waited for the bus to Highpoint. Newspapers are usually available. They are located on the way to the train station into town.

I stopped in here for an iced coffee on a warm day after walking the dog for a few kilometres.
The table service out the front was fast, friendly and they offered food, drinks etc.
The iced coffee came out quickly and it was really good.
With good coffee and good service, why wouldn't you come back?

I’ve been going here once or twice and week for several years and find the service quick and super-friendly. They brew chai from leaves and generally get the honey to tea ration just right. Don’t try the caramel slice-it is addictive!!

Have been visiting this cafe in Yarraville for over 7 years now and this was morning we attempted to visit for breakfast and it was nothing short of disappointing.
We arrived and no one greeted us as they appeared busy so we read the room and sat down assuming they would be with us soon to pro menus.
After 10 minutes this hadn’t happened so we got up to grab some menus so we could pick what we wanted to then order.
Still a fair time later no one came to take our order so we got up and lined up to place our order since no one wanted to serve us.
A waitress then advised us to sit down so she could come take our order.
This didn’t happen so after spending all this time we got up and walked out.
Unfortunately if you want people to order and eat you need to take that said order.
All the while we were seated other people came in and had their orders taken so we were a bit baffled by this and Im surprised it has come to this so we went across the road to a new cafe and had breakfast there instead.
I used to love this cafe but after today I’m quite turned off and besides that during our time there we also witnessed a waitress spilling a cup of coffee all over the floor and splashed over a customer who was lining up.
No idea what has gotten into this cafe but you can’t expect to let people sit around hungry and ready to order and have them return.

This cafe, located close to Yarraville Railway Station, is a 'little gem'! Russell the Proprietor is a welcoming host. The menu contains many exciting 'mouth watering' delights.
The various types of coffees, together with other drinks both hot and cold are excellent.
This cafe has a more rustic appeal as compared to the stainless steel etc. of the more up market cafes in the area!
The clientele are eclectic and interesting people. I am a regular customer.

Delicious Brunch, excellent service, the coffee is probably the best I have had in a long time. This morning I had poached eggs on toast with a side of Turkish sucuk (Turkish sausage) can't wait to go back again.
My friend had mushroom, pumpkin and Haloumi on toast, this looked really yummy!
You can sms your coffee ahead of time and pick it up on your way through.

I have had the coffee here I think it pretty good and staff are great and service is nice, its old school and the atmosphere here is wonderful I highly recommend this place.

From a very humble beginning this wonderful cafe welcomes an eclectic group of customers. Russell, the Manager, has developed an interesting menu which is quite flexible. The coffee is great and the food is both well prepared and tasty!
This thriving business is now often very busy, surely a sign of success, but customers will always be looked after and welcomed.

Getting a good coffee is a bit hit and miss at this place, I've thrown it away on more than one occasion after a couple of sips. The food is also very overpriced, and the staff useless in general. This place has the advantage of position right next to the station entrance, otherwise, there are much better places in Yarraville.
