Authentic great tasting Thai - yum !

Wow, wow, wow! We've just moved into Ballarat St in Yarraville and read the reviews for at43. And we were not disappointed. A warm welcome from Sakura who shared the most popular dishes and that we could have cooked by the chef as mild, medium and hot. We ordered a green chicken curry and a pad see ew with prawn. Delicious ! The green chicken curry had a great consistency and amazing heat and flavour - amazing. And the pad see ew was incredible - delicious with prawn. Both dishes were generous and incredibly tasty. Service from Sakura was warm, friendly and efficient. at43 is BYO too which is great. We'll be back !

Always reliable, friendly & tasty

Always a fantastic feed with tasty food and warm hospitality. I certainly always enjoy succulent & tasty thai fish cakes and what is, for me, the best beef massaman curry i have ever eaten. I have tried quite a number of other dishes over the years, pad-see-ew, green, red & yellow curries, various stir fries, satay etc and always enjoy whatever i order. Thoroughly recommend !

I was brought cold water with my menu. I made up my mind quickly to have the mixed seafood, sizzling hot plate dish. It was cooked just right, with soft calamari (rather than the chewy variety I have seen elsewhere). There were prawns, fish and other items included. It was a perfect dish, with a great selection of spices (not just chillies). I had a Chang beer with it, which was a great accompaniment.

Very tasty and good value

Visited twice on a recent stay in the area. Very tasty food, good value and very friendly, hard working Thai family working there. The menu is maybe a little bit limited but not so much that we went twice and its BYO although they are licenced

Good value Yarraville Thai!

Had an enjoyable lunch here. Nothing flash inside but food was good & very reasonable by Yarraville standards. We had Veggo curry puffs & Roti w peanut sauce for entree - both good. For mains we had Garlic & pepper prawns/veg plus a Papaya salad sans Salted Crab - also good. Will return...

Always so impressed with this place

I've been eating here for the past 7 years and have ALWAYS enjoyed the food there. I take my friends there to eat and we always love the freshness of the meals. Tonight was no exception. The staff are extremely professional. Tonight however there was actually a small problem , but it was dealt with immediately. The staff were very fair : love the service and commitment they have to their customers. They want you to leave there content and happy with your dining experience. Excellent place to eat.

Delicious and authentic!

Tasty lunch at ‘at43’. Delicious meals and very authentic flavours. The cashew chicken was a favourite, along with the satay skewers and Massaman Curry. Highly recommend this comfortable and welcoming restaurant.

Best Thai Yarraville

This is one of our favourite places to eat.... Twice this week to tell the truth! The food is authentic and absolutely amazing along with the price. Lots of choices available and Chef's specials. From entree to dessert it's just delicious. You can byo wine or buy it there and there's a good choice of beers and non alcoholic beverages. A lovely casual setting. The staff are friendly and courteous and aim to please the guests. This place reminds us of our stay in Thailand and I would always recommend At43 for Thai. We have not had a breakfast here as yet.

Yummy coconut prawns!!!

Our entrees were delicious! I found our mains were ok, my partner really liked them. The water bottles were really grubby/mouldy and we chose not to drink the table water because of this. I wouldn't rush back, he would.

Best Red Duck curry

This was my regular when living in Yarraville. I was visiting Melbourne and needed to have one of their Red Duck Curries. Un, the owner is a delightful hostess and makes you feel very welcome. The waitress is very attentive and discreet. I went with friends and we shared the Pad Thai and the Red Duck Curry (a favourite for all of us), had rice and their lovely roti bread. Had a lovely evening and the curry did not disappoint. The Pad Thai is lovely as well. A lovely cafe for breakfast in the morning and then Thai food at night. They make most of their own food in-house. Thanks again for a lovely night and a great meal.

Urn, the owner, delivers an authentic experience. Her welcoming smile, delicious food and overall friendly hospitality make her Thai restaurant stand out from some of the others. We often go there with the kids or collect take away orders. Khob khun kha Urn!

Beautiful flavours

Ordered via Deliveroo and it was sensational. Roti with peanut sauce, calamari salad, basil / chilli vegetables and tofu and chicken green curry. Not a single disappointment . Will be dining in for sure soon .

Food is DELICIOUS!

This place has amazing and tasty food. You can honestly see and taste the freshness. The price is reasonable. Everything we had was amazing: curry, rice, calamari. The best was the roti and satay sauce. So Tim and fresh. The only downfall is it’s tiny and seating not comfortable. But the food made up for it !

Great communal dining

Went with a table of 20 for a major birthday celebration. Organised a banquet in advance which included a number of special requests for vegetarian dishes and gluten free. No problems! The staff were very welcoming, a large table was set up in the middle of the restaurant - we virtually had the restaurant to ourselves for the evening. The Thai food was very good, with a couple of dishes as stand-outs through their spice and flavour. Servings were generous and appeared at regular intervals though the evening. Birthday guests enjoyed themselves with the whole dining experience adding to the conviviality and friendliness. Staff certainly assisted this. It was very well priced at $30 a head including some wine. Everyone ambled off into the evening exchanging pleasantries and saying what a fine time they had had.

Beautiful Thai Food

Came here with a friend for dinner one night the food was fresh when it came the atmosphere was great it was very busy that night and the staff were wonderful would highly recommend this place.
