This was a lovely little cafe in the centre of Orford, but the owner has closed this and the shop and the butchers, and now opened a very small shop, with limited stock.

It has closed. It is shut. It is no longer open. What a shame it has gone. Like wise a shame the village shop has also relocated to smaller premises around the corner.

Plenty of homemade choices here and we were pleased with our lunches. The general store had a good range of everything else too.

Three of us visited, ordering a bacon sandwich and two Welsh rarebits with teas. Bacon sandwich was excellent. Welsh rarebits were lone slices of cheese on toast with a bit of onion scattered on top - for £4 each. Teapots incredibly dirty - can't have...More

Called in for a light lunch whilst visiting Orford and it served a purpose. The café is connected to the shop and has little indoor seating and a few tables outside. The coffee and teas were nice but the food wasn't anything other than, just...More
