First visit to this place. We were warned when we arrived that there would be a 20 minute for food, the place was busy, so no problems, at least we knew. The various different dishes we had were all very good, in both quality and...More

Hi. Thank you for your positive review, glad you enjoyed your visit. With regards staffing: it's very hard to predict when we are going to be busy. We try to staff it appropriately, based on past experience, but sometimes we get caught out by an...More

I have been going to this pub on and off for over 30 years and seen various landlords come and go, but yesterday will be my last. We had booked a family lunch for an unwell relative who we were sure would be well enough...More

We called for an evening meal last Thursday, and had an excellent meal. Good choice, well cooked and presented. The burgers were great, looked and tasted homemade, the lasagne delicious and the mushroom stroganoff wonderful. The desserts were great too.
