We booked an overnight stay here. Lovely accommodation, excellent bar and an excellent meal in the restaurant. The service from every member of staff was excellent. A really enjoyable stay and we'd certainly book again if in the area.

Went for Sunday lunch and as always the food was good, service professional but not overbearing. The pub has a very good atmosphere a good balance between pub and restaurant. George the co owner runs a tight ship well worth a visit.
Thank you very much for your fantastic comments. We are very pleased to hear about your loyalty and satisfaction. I shall make sure that next time George buys you a drink! Best wishes.
From the outside it looks like a pub but inside contemporary decor and lighting create a relaxed, informal atmosphere. I enjoyed the asparagus with bacon and poached egg and an excellent liver and bacon with gravy mash. I like the idea of taking a pub...More
