Very nice pub with a large terrace in a green area. Nice atmosphere and very good food in a cosy restaurant next to the bar. Good wine list. Very friendly owner always ready to help the customers.

We popped in for dinner, classic old English Pub , would defiantly go back. Hubby had been eating Pie's since we landed and this place did not disappoint. Was not crowed, service had a lot to be desired. Would have eaten more or had out...More

The first thing that struck me about this pub was how very pretty it was. Flanked on the right by a duck pond replete with lily pads, a grassy forecourt separated from the pub building for al fresco dining/drinking, and a staircase leading up to...More

Delightful building in a lovely setting. More a collection of small rooms than a large, open-plan arrangement - so noisy fellow-diners can be a problem. Choose less popular days/times to avoid this. Food and service good to excellent.

This is one of my favourite pubs anywhere. It's lovely inside and out and on a sunny day, you can't beat sitting outside with a meal or drink. The food is good - quite a few specials, quite tasty, albeit limited vegetarian options and nothing...More

We'd heard good things about the Blackboys Inn and weren't disappointed. We arrived at around 2:30pm hoping there would still be roasts available. Although they'd run out of beef, pork and the nut roast option were still available. We ordered two vegetarian nut roasts and...More

Recently had lunch here. Lovely old pub, the seating was 'cosy'. The food was ok but not fantastic and quite pricey for pub food. Would I go back, probably not!

I last visited BLACKBOYS in 1957, there have been some changes........This is a lovely pub and restaurant, delicious home cooking and friendly service. We had an excellent lunch, Sunday lunch and vegetarian and child portion all very good. We are already planning our next visit.

Good morning Tracey, Blackboys is a very small village with just a pub, school and local cafe. We are a 10 minute car journey away from Uckfield which is a town with shops, restaurants and pubs. Hope this helps.
