Went for a weekend with a group of friends horse riding and stayed at the Whistlefield. The food was amazing, views breathtaking and staff were lovely! We will all definitely be coming back.

I visited the Whistlefield Inn with a group of friends for a nice relaxing getaway. Beautiful scenery surrounding the Inn with great walks nearby. Very homely, cosy feel to the rooms with great powerful showers! Had a lovely reasonably priced dinner here too with very kind staff. I would definitely recommend and I will most definitely be going back! Thoroughly... More

Just back from the most amazing stay at this hotel. There was 12 of us away on a university horse riding trip and everyone came away raving about the place. Rooms were cosy and nicely decorated and the beds were so comfy. Dinner was great one of the best meals I've had in a long time great classic Scottish food... More

This quaint friendly homely Inn is set amongst the most beautiful scenery. Friendly staff & owners can't do enough for you to make your stay pleasant. Good choice of food available, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Picnic benches in the well kept garden area and free car parking. We were a group of friends and would certainly come back to... We were staying at Ardentinny and called in for Sunday lunch. Under new management since May, the staff were telling us they have had a busy summer. Deservedly so. The decor is beautifully done ( loved the twig/fairy light arrangement in the bar!). We had a roast beef dinner, really tasty but they lost a star from me for not... More

Hi Bazza, Thanks for your kind words - I'm glad you had a great time! I'll pass your comments to the chef about your gammon steak, but I'm happy you enjoyed your scallops. Especially the bacon dust! Hopefully see you at the bar soon - I know everyone that was there the last couple nights enjoyed your company! Kind regards,... More

We had been staying in a holiday cottage for the week down the road and had budgeted for one meal out. We had cycled passed Whistlefield Inn and were impressed with the look of the menu advertising 3 courses for £20, so we booked a table for the final night of our stay. When we got there, the staff were... More

Dear Helen, Thank you for your kind words and feedback! I'm sorry that you weren't offered a 3 for £20 menu and that there was cleaning going on whilst you were eating your dessert! I will have a chat with our front of house team about that! I will also pass on your feedback, both good and in the case... More
