We stopped here several times over the course of 8 days. I had the conch salad every time - it was absolutely delicious, and came with an amazing and spicy sauce on the side. The view is spectacular. While we were dining out on the patio we chatted with one of the workers who was repairing the area down below... More

We did not eat here just a few drinks but the sunset view is breath taking! Right in the beach and always open! Service was great.... Just bring bug spray after the sun sets!

The Sunset Inn is a small indoor/outdoor restaurant which holds perfect sunset dinners 5-6 days per week. I think it's closed Tuesdays but not certain. The menu is typical of fare for the area. Conch, grouper and other standards. A bonus is that the prices are 10-20% less than nearby alternatives and the view is outstanding. I think they do... More

The lunch and dinner at his casual place, just a 1/4 south of downtown Governors Harbour, is great for very good Bahamian food. Its our favorite neighborhood restaurant. You can always count on fresh and tasty grouper either fried or broiled with a selection of sides.I like the classic Bahamian coleslaw the best. Ask for the specials.Make a note, it is... More

I travel and do a lot of work in the Bahamas and this place had the best conch fritters and conch salad so far. The view is peaceful and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. Take some insect repellent as some times of the year the noseeums can be a bother (this well be the case anywhere you go... More

The Sunset promises a beautiful view and wonderful ethnic fare at a reasonable price. It does all of that and more. Our only gripe with the Sunset is the wait we experienced. There was a rather large party ordering when we arrived (which is no big deal), but it resulted in an hour plus wait for our food, which was... More

Enjoyed their parmigan crusted grouper and garlic mashed potatoes with fresh grilled veggies. Lovely view from the screened in porch. Still a few bites from noseeums but they have OFF available for your ankles if you need it.

We didn't get a chance to eat here because we came on our last night which happened to be a Thursday when they are closed. Instead we took out our beach chairs and sat on the nearby beach and watched the sunset anyway. Great spot just don't wait to try it on Thursday night!!

We had the restaurant to ourselves and had a delicious seafood feast in no time. The children always love to explore the rocky shore while waiting for dinner

We were a group of 8 there for dinner. Our server was great- but it was Friday night & she was the only one working. It took over an hour to get our food, which was okay because the rum punch was keeping us happy... When we did get our food it was excellent. I would go back for sure,... More
