I simply adored this place, cozy and quaint and beautifully decorated with local art. Whatever you do.... order one of everything!! The conch stew, johnny cake, grits and sausage was all I had room for, but I’ll be back!

This place came highly recommended for local fare, but sadly I can't recommend it at all, in fact, I wish I had gone to Burger King or KFC. The hamburgers were about 3 inches in Diameter and 1/4 inch thick and had the appearance of...More

MaryAnn and her husband run a fine Bahamian restaurant and you will be sure to find flavourful food without traditional high levels of salt and oils. Try the JOnnie cake and boiled Bahamian Grouper for brunch. Clean, friendly and affordable.

Large servings. Freshly prepared so it takes awhile. Best to go at the end of the lunch period. Go for the sliced fish.

A bit off the tourist path, Mary Ann's has a great reputation with the locals. We eat there every once in awhile, usually Sunday lunch. Their Bahamian style ribs or "steamed' pork chops are really good. Never had anything bad there?

Our favorite local restaurant in Grand Bahamas is Mary Ann's. The conch, snapper, and lobster are the best. The Bahamian sides are real local food and they are delicious. Our favorite dinner is the cracked conch with peas and rice, cole slaw, and plantains. Staff...More

Too much fried food. Service was friendly. Rice and peas good. Wanted more fresh fish. Family friendly

This is one of the best places to find sheep tongue souse. I have taken my mother here several times as she loves to have sheep tongue souse. The portions are more than enough. You can have some for later and will not make you...More
