This restaurant is 5 stars, a bit expensive but worth every penny. The restaurant over looks a beautifully maintained Garden with fountain views, at night just amazing. The Graycliff house was converted into an antique hotel & restaurant, beautifully done. There is an expert cigar roller making the best cigars in town. A definite must do in Nassau.

The service was outstanding and the food was as exceptional as can be expected but know what you're getting into. We wanted to go off of our resort for dinner one evening and asked the concierge for a "nice" place to grab a bite to eat for dinner. He recommended and made us reservations for the Graycliff. We later learned... More

Graycliff has been around for many years and has maintained their status as one of the finest restaurants to dine in The Bahamas. Graycliff has a ton of history and was and still is one of the most popular places for the rich and famous. The wine cellar is the third largest in the world and guests are allowed to... More

If you are lucky enough to get the opportunity to dine at this establishment and tour the wine cellar, do not let the oppuruntity pass. Classic, sophisticated cuisine, top-notch wine (some of the best is the world) and cocktails. Exemplary service in a captivating and historically-rich atmosphere.

I've been to Nassau at least 15 times and I never heard of Greycliff restaurant. The food and service was absolutely amazing. The 3rd largest wine cellar in the world. Must go if you're looking for a special evening.

Very nice place. We did not have a reservation. We're seated in a lounge area while waiting to get seated at the table. We got some appetizer (some baby corn and other veggies) but no fork to eat it with. As soon as we got seated and then I needed to use the restroom. Well, it was not up to... More

Graycliff's decor as you arrive is resolutely old-fashioned: some will find it romantic, others twee, coy even. Then you meet the Maître D', a sad human being who probably last smiled about 50 years ago. Who in their right mind would entrust welcoming their guests to someone so sullen - or smug? What a turn-off! When you get the menu,... More

Very attractive colonial style dining area. Went for High Tea and we were the only ones there. Tea was a selection of commercial tea bags. Pastries ok. Not sure was worth the price, but the interaction with dining manager and server made the experience better. They were delightful.

Visited the Graycliff restaurant in February this year. It was a wonderful experience. The Graycliff cocktail that you are offered upon arrival whilst waiting for your table is delicious and not to be missed. The food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the Conch Chowder. The souffles are out of this world, be sure to order your souffle early as they... More

Graycliff Restaurant's cuisine epitomizes elegance in the finest continental and Bahamian tradition with a menu that is both tasteful and distinctive. The secret recipes at Graycliff have set its reputation in the hallmark of the rich and famous. Creative culinary innovation has resulted in a variety of sumptuous dishes that is distinctly its own. Bahamian dishes have been creatively transformed into sophistication and refinement with the end result being an international reputation for Bahamian cuisine. Your evening at the restaurant begins as you sink into the depths of a sofa in the parlor with its sophisticated high ceilings and tranquil feeling. Within moments you will peruse the menu, while one of the bar waiters tends to your favorite cocktail. Having placed your dinner order, when your appetizers are ready, you are then escorted to your table to enjoy your meal. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE A DRESS CODE: ELEGANT (GENTLEMEN MUST WEAR LONG PANTS). The restaurant has five air-conditioned dining rooms. Each room has a special allusion to the era when Graycliff was a private home from the Library to the Gallery, where the family would retire after dinner to play cards.Following dinner you are invited to once again relax and enjoy the rest of your evening with an after-dinner cognac or cigar and live grand piano music every night. Wines, Cognacs, Armagnacs and Ports Graycliff's Wine Cellar is world renowned and the wine list has won the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1988. The wine cellar has an inventory of over 250,000 bottles from over 400 vintners in 15 countries. Ask the sommelier for a tour of the wine cellar. In addition to the considerable wine inventory, Graycliff also boasts one of the largest selections of Cognacs, Armagnac, Port and vintage malt whiskys. We have a cognateque with a great number of museum pieces bottles. The Graycliff main house was built in 1740 by a reformed pirate. The breathtaking hand painted pool is the first one in the Bahamas and the ruins of the oldest church can still be seen. Graycliff also has a cigar factory on property, a cigar roller at night shows his art in the parlor. During the day a visit to our Chocolatier is a must and you can also take a chocolate complete tour of the factory.
