Sadly, Asolare was destroyed by hurricanes Irma and Maria. The food was always delicious and interesting, and the service top notch. But what really made Asolare stand out for me was the incredible view out over Cruz Bay to St. Thomas. Hopefully, someone with the...More

The view, the exquisite food, the service....but sadly the restaurant was destroyed during the hurricane. I don't know if they are back.

An amazing view! The restaurant is not huge so it is quiet but can still accommodate 12 people. The staff was attentive and the price was comparable to other places on the Island. The only down side is very limited parking.

We had a group come in for my wedding reception (about 20 people) and we were sat on the deck which overlook Cruz Bay. The food was delicious and my friends and family commented on how good their meal was (especially the steak). Dean went...More

A spectacular view with a sweet waitress in the midst of a tropical storm -- but the food was crazy bad and massively overpriced.

Fantastic meal; we have 2 kids and 2 adults; the portions are big - we were surprised by that and also they were perfectly cooked. Couldn't ask for a better meal, better service, nor better ambiance. The chef visited our table (unsolicited) which was impressive...More

We ate there twice, both times the food was outstanding and the service impeccable. Try to make a reservation as far in advance as possible if you want to sit on the rail. We tried to both times, but they already had reservations on them.

We had a great sunset dinner there. Food and service were top notch. Starting with the drinks (try the fig old fashion), it was a great dinner. A must do for a St. John trip!
