The vermillion snapper was DEVINE. Rested on top of goat cheese polenta and a harissa and dill béarnaise. Perfected seasoned. Last meal vibes, people. You also must try the seared tuna as an app. Beautifully done. Eric G took great care of us with wonderful...cocktails, conversation, and perfect knowledge of the menu and ingredients. Next time we will try to get a spot on the deck for live music Friday night. Worth the drive. Make a reservation. Bravo Salt! A truly enjoyable dining experience on the island!More

Ever since my first time here - Salt is a must on a visit to St. Croix. The menu changes often and everything I've tried for brunch or dinner has been outstanding. Local fish and local produce is a huge plus. Reservations recommended.

We were first seated at 5pm, told server we had a 1 hour timeframe as we had an event to get to. By 5.50 food was not in sight yet, waitress advised that a big to-go order had come in (after we were seated) and...that had backed the kitchen up. Owner was dismissive when I asked why they simply didn't communicate or tell us. Had to take the food to go, but had to eat later after tour event when cold and most was thrown out.More

Excellent! We are a family of 5 and had a great brunch here. We tried the stuffed French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, crab cake Benedict and the pork belly BLT. The food was perfect, the service was great, and the view was amazing!!! Now I...need to return for dinner!More

Definitely off the "beaten path," this is a small "destination" restaurant with excellent fresh food. The place is known for its outdoor dining, but due to the wind, four of us dined inside at a high-top table. Excellent, and well-positioned to read all the specials...on the chalk board. I had the 3-course special, and the others went their own ways. All good, and eating only a quarter of the red velvet dessert was enough.More

Great food, great service, great ambiance. My wife and I went for Sunday brunch (on the strength of the regular menu, where I’d have had a hard time choosing between several attractive options). I had the hash and my wife had a vegetarian bowl. Both...dishes were packed with great tasting, well prepared ingredients. We will definitely go again.More

This middle of nowhere restaurant did not disappoint. With views of the salt pond and cool breezes, the ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. We went during Sunday brunch hours and it was busy. If you want a table on the deck, I suggest reservations. We...were lucky and got a space at the bar after a small wait. Our food was very tasty and service at the bar was friendly, although the hostess was a little cool. Only negative, I’ve never seen such stingy portions of non alcoholic drinks. My fruit punch with no ice was a third of a tumbler of juice. Two sips. Still, worth a visit.More

We came for breakfast and quickly learned that all meals were available if we so desired. The food was freshly prepared and terrific! It is off of the beaten path on the west shore of the Great Salt Pond, so not easily spotted from the...main road. Definitely make a point of eating here!!!More

The restaurant itself is lovely, with outdoor dining and a view of the water. Fabulous food, imaginatively and artfully prepared, extensive selection, great drink list! However, be prepared for a wait—ours was 2 hours, which was a bit much.
