Harvey's Restaurant is the perfect place to eat like a local. My husband's mom and aunt came to visit St. Croix and lunch at Harvey's is top priority on the list. The conch in butter sauce was to die for! My mother-in-law fell in love with the curry mutton. We truly enjoyed our lunch and the company. It was the... More

Family owned restaurant, with mother in the kitchen and fatter behind the bar. Som was serving us and the food was great. Had fish with all kinds of sides. Corn, banana, potatoes and other vegtables. Very cozy restaurant with lots and lots of fotos, newspaper pages and other great stuff on the walls, for your entertainment. Trine, Denmark

We stumbled upon this local restaurant after renting a car to get away from our resort. We we both delighted and upset!! Delighted that we had found some traditional island food and angry that we hadn't found it sooner!! The atmosphere is great, Mr. Harvey and his wife make you feel like you are at home. The food is served... More

Got food here to go. They close early at 3pm, so best to go for lunch or get take out for dinner. We had St. Croix's local fish, fried pot fish. It was very good. Also tried their passion fruit and sorrel juices and they were good too. Good local spot to get some local food.

Sorry to say that our dining here wasn't the best experience at all. The fish wasn't seasoned and everything was thrown together and very cloggy. :(

Harvey's provides an authentic local food experience on St. Croix. Whether it's the fish and fungi, the callaloo, the stew goat, the pot fish, the potato stuffing, the peas and rice, it's the true experience of unchanging Crucian cuisine at its best.

Harvey's is traditional island style. When it's gone, it's gone and they're closing up shop. The menu consists of what the waiter has written on his tablet. The food is fresh and tasty. Definitely worth eating before the crowd takes it all.

My husband, son and I had a late lunch at Harvey's last week and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!! There was no menu, just a handful of specials which included curried goat stew, BBQ chicken, pot fish and crab salad. We ordered ginger beer and a drink made with hibiscus ... both were delicious and good accompaniments to the curried... More
