I used to live in Trinidad and always loved Hott Shoppe roti. I used to go to the one on Maraval Road mostly back then but both branches have always turned out consistently hot, tasty, well-priced food. On a long weekend trip to Trinidad this time and a proper roti was at the top of my list of things to... More

If you really know a good roti, then you will never buy here. The foreigners who visit will be told to purchase here, but this is not the way roti should taste

The dhalpuri roti skin lacks the traditional split peas but the curry flavour is really good. Love that they offer different roti and meal sizes from minis, regular snack boxes and family packs! Nice having the options for different meats like goat, conch or shrimp, unlike a lot of other places that stick to mainly chicken and beef offerings. Parking... More

Had a vegetable Roti with all the side: pumpkin, bodi (Chinese long beans), potatoes, Channa. Chose to have Dahl puri Roti. Bought a buss up shot (no peas) for evening snack with the rest of the vegetables. Large Roti. They even have frozen for travelers to take back. Smart move. Condiments: pepper sauce other, were on point and tasty. A... More

The place was recommended by many locals for roti, and we weren't disappointed. We had roti in many other places in TNT and this was one of the best. Make sure you take all fixings and the mango. The shrimp roti is particularly tasty. It can get quite busy, so sometimes the wait is a bit long. There are a... More

Wow. The place is small, more of a take away kind of place. It has a couple stools to sit along the wall to eat. What can I say, food was great, portions were huge, staff was super nice, prices were low. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back.

Hott Shoppe is probably one of the most trusted places to get curry after 4 pm. The curry mango, channa, pumpkin, chicken and buss up shot that i had was not only filling (I couldn't eat all in one sitting) but delicious!!

Love the curry mango and paratha skins. I would usually buy these items for travel. The curry / roti are okay also. Customer service isn't the best!

When I first came to Trinidad this was the place to go for curry. of late I find that the curry is "watery" and needs to be more flavorful. they have a lot of choices and I will continue to buy from them so well worth a visit.

Writing this with foreigners in mind. Pretty good roti wrap with soft "tortilla" filled with crushed split peas. Good tasting curry chicken, goat, beef or shrimp. May not be the best on the island but has been consistent and probably the best in the west. A good first try for a foreigner. One of of my Go To places.
