Hands down the best place for shark and bake! $35 TT for one. Fresh and a great system to avoid long lines. Seating was good, but I'm sure it gets busy. We took it to go and ate it on the beach. Phenomenal!

Richard shark and bake is so delicious especially when you add all the condiments on it. You cannot go to Trinidad and not get a shark and bake at Richard. His location is right next to maracas beach so its just perfect, This is a must do when ever you are in Trinidad. I love going late in the evening... More

Bake and shark is a local delicacy liken to the caribbean burger. The dough and shark meat is deep fried with add on condiments like cucumbers, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Add some local hot pepper sauce for the extra Oomph! They are best to be eaten fresh i.e. late morning or lunch time. You will not be disappointed.

I drove with relatives to Maracas Beach where the roadside stand called Richard's Bake and Shark is located. It was by far the best fish sandwich I have EVER had! Served in an outdoor patio area, you can sit and eat after topping your fish sandwhich with a variety of seasoned sauces mild to hot. It was not just a... More

Had a bake & shark sandwich here, and it lived up to the hype 100%. Cheap, fried, amazing sauces. Can't go wrong.

It's across from (along) maracas beach. The food was quick and good. There were different sauces, mostly spicy, and other Greens such as salads and cucumber that you can eat on the side. They sell beer and other exotic drinks and juices. The food was...good but...It's just one of those things that you have "to do" (try) before leaving the... More

We typically go to Natalie's, which is close by and has the same food. Richard's is very popular and the lineup is long. The customer service is mediocre, as is most places in Trinidad when it comes to service. The food is good, and the condiments are plenty. Without it, the bake tastes plain and dry. The fish portions are... More
