We have been going to La Sucriere for baguettes for as long has we have been coming to the island. They are crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Just like I remember from Paris.

Great place to enjoy a baguette and croissant with some marmalade and butter for breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend the cappuccino. The terrace is at the back of the building with view over the lagoon, so no traffic passing by directly while eating which is a big plus.

A couple of morning stops for breakfast. All home made delicious pastries and breads. Nice outdoor seating in back of the place with views of the Lagoon. Pick something up to take with you to one of the beaches. Best continental breakfast on the island. Parking a bit tricky sometimes, but that can be said about almost everywhere you go.

The coffee was some of the best we've had on the island. So....every morning coffee and croissants on the darling deck of the restaurant overlooking the lagoon. Then we would buy... More

This bakery was close to our condo. Really good and a nice little patio in the back. Parking can be very busy.

We went everyday. Fresh bread, tarts and their goat cheese pastry puff is to die for. Great prices, almost always a line of locals. Outdoor tables with a view of the bay.

Favorite place for coffee and croissants. It is very relaxing to read on the back deck and watch the boats in the lagoon
