Please don't let the bad reviews scare you away from this place. It is one of the true, chef-owned gems on the island. On arrival we always fais la bise with the hostess who I think remembers us, or just likes to kiss the guests. When you start dinner getting kissed by a beautiful french woman what can be wrong?... Maya's is a St Barth institution. Maya and Randy run a consistently high quality restaurant. The restaurant is always busy with regulars so book ahead. There is now valet parking which overcomes a tricky start.

What a pretty restaurant with great food and service. We ordered the soup of the day and since we were sharing, the staff split it for without our asking. Very thoughtful. The mahi mahi and wahoo were both excellent. We would definitely return.

A bit off the beaten path, but well worth it. Maya and her husband are in the house and do all they can to make your experience one to remember. The menu is described to you item by item, and they are happy to bring you a small sample of their many sauces so you may choose your favorite (which... More

We knew Maya through the small catering shop in saint jean. The food there is good, fresh although lacking more and more variety. Its getting a bit routine always the same. We decided to try the restaurant and were very disapointed. The food is cantine like, basic no effort whatsoever in the product or the enhancement. The prices are crazy.... More

A review site and the website looked promising, so with high anticipation and a good appetite we came to Maya's. The restaurant is located at the industrial area of Gustavia which doesn't look charming as a dinner location. The interior is fresh white, but certainly not special. The plates and other bowls/dishes used were actually quite ordinary. When we were... More

During a family vacation in St Barhs we had the pleasure of being able to dine at Maya's. We were thrilled with the special attention given to our 10 year olds . The device was great and the food the best on the Island. Everything was incredibly prepared, played and delicious. Can't wait to return there on our next visit

What a great restaurant! How many restaurants are you welcomed by the Chef when you arrive? This is what happens here. Simple menu, but with great choices, and prepared depending on the freshest produce of the day. Nothing standard here, except for the very friendly and attentive service. With a changing menu one cannot recommend any dish but I can... More

The location of Maya's is great, it's beautiful and if you want to come Early to try to catch the Sunset you can. But the restaurant doesn't start serving till 7. This place is laid back and casual, don't feel you have to get all crazy dressed up for a good meal. Our server was very helpful as we did... More

On the beach of Gustavia, excellent restaurant for rafined gourmets, nice panorama, friendly ambiance and service; a perfect place for good eating and relax and gather with family and friends.
