When we arrived here to eat at 2:30 for lunch the waiter said we're not open till 4 I said but your site on trip advisor says lunch. The chef pops his head out and says not today. So who knows but they were so rude I would never go back

Tin box offers a dining experience. The setting is tropical and the sushi is very fresh. Full menu as well for variety. Delicious.

Supposedly a great barbecue place on the island. No rib meat falling off the bone on my platter. Food came out in about one minute after We ordered so the food was just sitting there ready to be slapped on the plate. Less special then going to a local barbecue place on a major highway where we live. Disappointed.

Anyone can boil a rib. Our ribs are smoked, we want a bite not pulled pork with a bone. Sorry you had to come all the way to Vieques to have real bbq. More

A great place to eat about one mile outside Esperanza, it definitely got busy in the evening. Good menu and drinks and overlooking their gardens and natural area. Beautiful setting!!!

Gotta feel cool going to Tin Box. The menu is eclectic and the surroundings funky and charming all at once. Thankful for a place that has reliably good sushi on this little island of less that 10,000 people.

We met friends and ate at the Tin Box three times in the month we spent in Puerto Rico. The food was good, the waitress a pleasure, the building was kind of neat and open air and the surrounding gardens with fresh produce just added to the total joy of the place. I tried other restaurants but this one continued... More

We loved the fresh arugula salads at the Tin Box. The sushi was so good that we placed a second order. The ribs and bacon had good flavor profiles, but were too fatty for our tastebuds. The service was excellent! We highly recommend. (P.S. A local artisan named Jennifer sells funky little sea glass jewelry and other beaded creations out... More

Great food and drinks. Something for the kids and for the adults. Their lunch spot Duffy's is also excellent.

The hubby and I had dinner here tonight. So good! I had the watermelon martini, veggie sushi and Box salad.. hubs had the BBQ chicken and a beer. They grow their own greens and watermelon so those are as good as it gets! Great service, lovely setting, delicious food- so glad we came!

Thank TerrySF
