As I always do, I do research concerning what's good to eat at my destinations. This place came up as a good breakfast place. In my opinion it's an ANYTIME place. Their waffles were amazing great and the way the prepare their coffee is different to say the least. I look like a science experiment. If I had to say... More

We stopped here for breakfast after walking the city wall and cruise pier waterfront. Great menu with many selections which were served at appropriate temperature. Only complaint was the one bathroom that was occupied by a long-term resident.

Happened upon this joint while wandering around Old San Juan. Everything here is waffles and they are delicious. Eggs poached on the side, fresh fruit and strong coffee. Only downside is lack of Wifi. Let's go, Waffle-era. It's 2017! Otherwise their place is terrific!

Came in around noon. There were only two other tables (table of two and table of six). Gave up waiting for two 1/2 waffles after waiting 45 minutes. Too many other restaurants. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Was the closest breakfast place to our hotel - what a find! Everything served on waffles. We spli the smoked salmon, manchego cheese, tomato and egg waffle and the berries, honey and granola. Superb - in fact we went back again the next day for the same thing. I am a tea drinker and they have 30 varieties (varie-teas :-))... More

This place is a must stop for breakfast when visiting Old San Juan. I highly recommend you start your day here and fuel up. Very quaint and the waffle was outstanding.

I eat waffles almost everyday for breakfast, and very rarely any other meal time. At Waffle-era you can enjoy it any time of day. It is one of a kind, sort of "gastronomic art", so to speak. My husband tried the smoked salmon on waffles, (of course) on the "lunch" menu and I had the breakfast waffle with berries, bananas,... More

The Waffle-era tea room had amazing waffles and drinks. The savory waffles can't be missed. Waitstaff was wonderful and food delicious. Hibiscus, mango or orange mimosas, stuffed eggs with waffles and a choice of so many ingredients for toppings.

Thank Michele P
