Their pizzas (Cocas) are very good, the Chorizo sliders however leave much to be desired. The beef patty was dry and the bread stale!! A far cry from the Toro Sakai of years past. The place needs a thorough clean up as well. Too bad, had high expectations😭👎

The food was great. We had a the chicken clay pot, mahi mahi a la plancha, taquitos de Camarones Al Ajillo, and sauteed mussels and clams. Erwin gave us the best service and took care of our individual requests. Definitely a must eat place...chicken clay pot...yum

We came here on our previous visit for Tapas and really enjoyed it. So it was our first choice for an early evening meal prior to going to a concert. The menu was as we remembered it and we enjoyed the plata and mahi tacos. Unfortunately the calamares was over cooked and our sliders sat in the service area for... More

We stopped here for a drink and ended up getting the mussels and clams appetizer. I really enjoyed the mussels they were very meaty and tasted fresh. Our server was attentive and friendly. We souldn't keep our eyes off the delicious food coming out of the kitchen, I wish I had more room for more food here.

Either pre theater or after theater, this is the nearest place to go if you visit the Teatro Tapia or Old San Juan for that matter. But we went for a drink and an appetizer before the show and then after the show for a Caprese Coca, which is a nicely done pizza. They have Hendrick's gin for a nice... More

At the end of our time in old San Juan, we stopped here for a break before catching a cab back to our hotel. We found the tables with umbrellas a welcome respite from the humidity of the day and found the liquid refreshments just what we needed to get hydrated. My husband enjoyed an Old Fashioned while I enjoyed... More

We tried this place on a late Saturday afternoon. At first we were hesitant because there wasn't anyone there but it had really good reviews on Yelp so we decided to take a chance and try it anyway. Wow! Our server's name was Irwin and he was the sweetest and most attentive. The food was delicious (skip the croquetas). We... More

Had everything from sangria to the potted chxn with olives. Played of meat and monchego and paella. All was coined fresh and spiced well, very flavorful. Service spot on. Reasonably priced.

Great location located right off the main square in Old San Juan. Service was great and the food was very good. Prices were in the mid to upper range but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We we're shopping in Old San Juan and came across Toro Salao at the moment we were ready to sit, cool off, eat and drink. It was great luck. Food delicious and lovely presentation- Service wonderful, space cute and interesting. There is a lovely out door patio but we opted for the cool of the AC inside. The Queso Fundito... More
