My wife and I were staying in a nearby hotel and ate here as a change of pace. Tasty fruit juices and salads, along with our vegetarian meals [I had quiche]. Staff was attentive and friendly, and they had two hotel dogs which we enjoyed...More

My dinner at the Hotel Mocking Bird Hill was a moving experience. I arrived and was the only person present. I was not made to feel like a burden but yet like a cherished guest. The entire hotel was lit with candles, amazingly beautiful. Between...More

The menu changes each day as all the ingredients are locally sourced and fresh. The food itself is made in the small kitchen below and the attention to detail is great. The food is very aromatic and the portion sizes are very generous. Make sure...More

Frozen veg re-heated, stodgy spaghetti, unnecessary breads and salad we didn't ask for, flavoured butters, dry chicken, aggressive staff, reusing napkins, waitress doubles up as hotel reception & owner, very overpriced. Again, I've no idea how this place gets any positive reviews??? The chef is...More

We are somewhat perplexed by this review. The two dishes mentioned are not served at our restaurant. In addition we do not have a set menu. We offer our guests a daily changing menu which means that our hotel guests never have the same meal,...More

Our menu always includes vegetarian and/or vegan options and on Mondays our menu is completely meatless. Just let us know when you make your reservation and vegan options will be on the menu. Not a problem at all.
