We had read about Plaza Bieu prior to our trip and knew we wanted to try it out. We ended up at Yvonne's which has a prime location right when you walk it (although we did take a peek at most of the menus before...More

If you are looking to experience the Caribbean culture please visit the Plaza Bieu. I have to admit that the place doesn't look very promising from the outside and the inside doesn't look that much better, but the food served is great and cheap! Tip:...More

I love the atmosphere Plaza Bieu! I forgot the name of the place we ordered from but it is the last vendor on the left. We had conch stew with white rice. There was a yummy pickled onion on the table that was jalapeno-like spicy....More

The Plaza is nothing fancy, but if you want to enjoy local this is a good place. We ate lunch at Yvonne's (at the entrance) and were promptly greeted, seated & fed. We had the Red Snapper, and Chicken; both were very tasty and came...More

This place is a wonderful local spot to eat at. There are about 4-5 shops you can chose to eat from but try the ones closest to one of the entrances as it can get very hot in the middle. Food was delicious and cheap....More

If you want to eat like a local and experience Curaçao culture, visit this place. It's not the prettiest but it will give you a cultural flavour of the island.

We stopped at the first stall called Yvonne's. It seemed to be THE place to eat. Every other stall waited for business to come their way while the line formed at Yvonne's. I think she was serving beef, chicken, catch of the day and whole...More

My wife and I came here for lunch while exploring the downtown area. There are 6 stands as you walk in that offer similar but slightly different choices. I had the goat stew with beans and rice, she had the orca gumbo. Both were good...More

Stopped in for lunch and it lived up to it's ratings. There are probably a half a dozen different places to choose from. We didn't realize this and when we walked in, a nice man named Frank greeted us and took us to a table....More

Located within easy walking distance of historical sites in town. Under a rigid roof, the sides are open in places along the transparent heavy plastic sheltering one from wind and precipitation. One sits at long tables, picnic style. There is a selection of cooking kiosks...More

There is parking, paid and free around the area. If you are staying outside Willemstad take a local bus to the "city" as they run often and are very cheap. There are two bus stations, one at Punta which is right around the... More

They might not have vegan food, however there are 5 to 7 different vendors, What I would do is to find one who might be able to accomodate me for the next day or all week, It might be easier for vegetarian than vegan though.
