The food here was good but sadly when we went there was one small tour party and just us. When we had booked that afternoon, we had been told they were practically full. Great shame as this meant there was no atmosphere at all.

We were offered a very special cocktail with rum, blue curacoa, pineapple licquor and juice after the bell had rung to welcome us.The local speciality, filled beef roll, came with an abundance of delicious ingredients but the steep stairs in front of the entrance hall might result into an unexpectedly dangerous goodbye.

Ate here with our tour group. They serve a nice fresh salad and very good rice and beans. The roast beef was tasty but on the tough side. But this seems to be typical of the Cuban restaurants we ate at. There seems to be a tendency to overcook the meats. They do a great job with the tubers. We... More

The food is amazing in this place. The service is also spectacular. Wonderfully priced and the back patio is pretty cool. Overall great experience and worth the visit.

It is a very nice restaurant located in the downtown of the city. There you can taste very nice Cuban's recipes.

This Restaurant is in the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, as shown, the steps to the doors have no hand-rails but the driveway entrance, beside the main doors is wheel-chair and elderly or infirm friendly. There is a side bar with its own street entrance and umbrella tables on the cobbled square itself. There are 2 inner dining halls... More

We had a pleasant dinner here on one of our evenings in this beautiful city. The dinner was not outstanding but very acceptable and the service was friendly. The restaurant itself is quite lovely and quiet. There's also a small bar. The wine was quite decent. I recommend the place.

We ate out on the back patio, and service was good. The fish was not overcooked, which is hard to find in restaurants in Cuba. Lovely ambience, good music, and a fun evening.

This bar/ restaurant in the beautiful San Juan de Dios plaza was a great afternoon hangout. They have tables with umbrellas (if you can prise one away from the stall vendors who shelter from the sun there) and some seating inside. Beers are cold and cheap ($1 a bottle) and the food (sourced from one of the adjoining restaurants) was... More
