We were a group of seven friends eager to get some lunch after a morning of walking through beautiful old Havanna when we found that restaurant. Attracted by the impressive beer columns (obviously a long cylinder containing several litres of beer with a tap to be placed on the table) we decided to order som hamburgers and other food. The... this square was right next to our apartment so we spent much of our time there, relaxing, people watching, eating coconut ice cream from the vendors. We watched dancers, ate ok meals (nothing stellar but good and solid) and enjoyed a few beers. a great place to see it all.

So, I was at this place a few days ago. I was visiting with a couple friends of mine. My friends are white Americans and I Hispanic. I look like a local. My friends are big time beer drinkers and we went to lots of places drinking beer. We always keep track of how many beers we ordered. The menu... More

Very nice plaza. The buildings are beautiful. There are several good places to eat and drink here. Good place to people watch and take a break. The plaza is located in the old city, close to the harbour front. It is easy to find. well worth a visit.

We enjoyed the rich coffee in the square and watched locals and tourists alike interact. the architecture is stunning and beautiful. My daughter enjoyed the street vendors selling churros and the chocolate from the chocolate store was unbelieveable. a must see.

It hurts my eyes so beautiful is this place. In particular, the historic facades with their arches and wooden doors. The place is fringed with some nice cafes and bars that invite to enjoy the former splendor.

This is a quaint square that has been rehabbed in the last 10 years. Great art gallery with a blue door. We sat down at the Cafe Vieja and no one, not one person, took our order. We waited 30 minutes( which is way past a regular time limit). We even tried to call over a waiter and he ignored... More

We were told about camera obscura from some fellow tourists. It is on the roof top and is one of 7 or 8 in the whole world. I don't know exactly what the mechanics is but from the roof top one can see with the help of mirrors and lenses you can see a large panoramic view of Habana Vieja.... More

This is a good place to people watch, stroll around, and enjoy the buildings. As my other reviews relates, do NOT eat or drink at Factoria Plaza Vieja - total tourist rip off.
