Was near my casa particulare so ate dinner here on my last night in Havana, service a little slow but the food was worth waiting for. Lots of foreigners but also quite a few locals so was a good choice. If I return to Havana would definitely eat here again.

Ate dinner at this lovely restaurant in La Habana's Vedado district (just a few blocks from Hotel Nacional) TWICE (we liked it so much the first time) with my group of 15 University of British Columbia students in May. They have a formal dining room and a less formal grill alongside. We chose the grill both times. Varied menu. Good... More

Just before Christmas, on the day we arrived in Havana, staying at a Casa Particular in Vedado, our gracious hostess walked us to this Paladar where we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal and cold Cuban beer..BUT We had a wait of 75 minutes for our main course! As it was our first night in Havana, we slowly sipped a couple... More

Beautiful Caribbean home with nice landscaping in an open environment. They have the best Chicken and Rice in Havana, there is a 45 minute wait as the food is cooked to order. They also have a nice "flan" dish that is very well done and have live music.... very nice location near much of typical Cuban culture. We came back... More

We went for supper and we were not impressed with the quality of the food, the steak was hard like a rock and the sandwich was full of grease , beside that the service was extremely slow, never again.

I have to separate the fact that I didn't feel well for this final group dinner and party afterward. Apparently their signature offering is paella. The bowls of paella were huge. I got chicken instead, which was very good. There were 3 of us at a table. Every course the waiters missed one of us with soup, salad, whatever. The... More

This restaurant is situated in the Vedado area, very close to the famous Focsa building.Originally used to cater for mainly Russians and Venezuelan visitors but in the last few years has become popular to all nationalities.Try not to snack before you go to La Casona as their servings are really large especially the rice dishes like "Arroz con Pollo a la... We had spent the first 4 days of our trip in Havana & had some OK meals. \we then went to Varadero for 8 days & struggled to find any restaurants of quality, although we we did manage to find two eventually. We then ended up back in Havana for 3 days, and as is often the case, went out... More
