This feels like a traditional Havana restaurant with older men taking care of you. That is exactly what it is… but, the food was REALLY excellent and the service was great. The starter menu includes some amazing stuffed vegetables with crispy outsides and filled with pulled beef for 1cuc. This was SO good. The prawn enchilada main course was also... More

We came across Hanoi Casa de la Parra by chance, whilst walking through Havana’s old town. The exterior is rather nondescript, and we had no idea what we’d be in for. And what a treat it was! The food was excellent; certainly the best I had in Havana. And the prices were much better than those at the other “touristy”... More

This lovely restaurant on a side st in the Old Town serves Cuban cuisine as well as paella and other lovely bites and the probably the cheapest cocktails in the city! Also dessert is pretty good too

Recommended in LP, for a couple of fried dishes......wrong, the only rice was paella, & it was very average, it said it had seafood, chicken & pork but I had a large piece of fat.....could have been pork. Though cheap there are other eateries just as cheap with tasty food nearby. Drinks were cheap but also average.

Stumbled upon this place while walking around the Capitolio area and all we wanted was just to sit down and take a break from the afternoon sun and refuel. What drew our attention was the name as the restaurant had nothing to do with the city namesake =) In any case, we got directed into the restaurant and were seated... More

Nothing fancy here, just basic rice and grilled meat/fish that a local might eat. Service was good, prices were low, and the courtyard seating was pretty. You could do a lot worse.

It's ok Was busy so thought we'd give it a try. Food was served pretty quick but nothing special. Wife had chicken and I had fish. My fish was fine, but wife was not sure at first it was chicken as it was very fatty. All in all ok, but not great.

Staying in this area was hard to find a place to eat and I stumbled on the Hanoi. Friendly doorman to draw you in and all I wanted was my daily fix of expresso. Liked the place so much I came back for dinner. Good choice of food and you get live Cuban music as well. Nice decor and always... More

I love the Hanoi. I see a lot of people have had problems with the bills. I ate alone so there wasn’t much they could to my bill. I loved the ambience, the beautiful antiquity of the building, the peacefulness, the lunch time musicians who played for a long time and were superb, and a window seat so I could... More
