Because of all the reviews, I had this place on my Cuba to do list. I was really excited to see what this place was about. Unfortunately I never got the chance. When we got to Floridita, we opened the door and a guy hastily...More

If you are only in Havana for a day, I recommend visiting a cigar factory, Hemingway’s house, some of the local shops or the market and stopping at the Floridita for a daiquiri. While at the Floridita I am sure you will hear some great...More

The excursion said we would stop for lunch here. I was pleasantly surprised! Included was a daquiri, a salad course, the main entree, and a lovely dessert! All of the food was so good and the ambiance was great! Considering the excursion dropped about 300...More

Definitely a tourist hot spot, bur worth a visit. Really good, cheap daiquiris. It was crowded both times I visited, so I just grabbed a drink at the bar.

We stopped in just before noon for daiquiri's and their reputation is well deserved. These were absolutely the best daiquiri's I've ever had. My wife ordered a second and she never drinks more than one cocktail. The ambiance was festive. Music from the live band...More

So this is the home of the daiquiri. It was a place where Hemingway invented the daiquiri. So it’s a great looking place. Some sweet Cuban live music. And a ton of decor. However, be ready for a crowd. It’s super packed but everyone is...More

We loved the Daiquiri and the Hemingway statue but 3 out of 4 of us got really sick after eating here. If you do go, just have a daiquiri and listen to the music but don't eat. It might have been the seafood platter.

This local bar is quite lively it is most busy at lunchtime and in the afternoon primarily frequented by cruiseship passengers for their famous daiquiris and to get their photos taken next to the bronze statue of Hemingway who frequented the bar. The sandwiches are...More

You don't need a reservation to go in to enjoy the music. You just walk in. I wouldn't think this would be a place you would have dinner. The food may be okay, but probably only okay, and it will be overpriced. There are... More
