You will not be disappointed! This is one of our favorite restaurants. You can't beat the setting - right on the beach. The food is delicious and service is also first class just a wonderful experience all round. Varied menu and nice selection of wine choices and cocktails.

Once again we went to this delightful restaurant at sunset. Such a pleasure to put your feet in the cool sand and have a nice meal. My grand daughter loved watching the planes land and the nearby boats. Our foot was excellent, however the wait staff could have been a little more friendly. No one smiled, they all seemed too... We visited Aruba by cruise ship on 6 April for an overnight stay. Four of us pre-booked an early evening table at Barefoot and walked to the restaurant from the port, a level walk of just over a mile. The restaurant does not look very inspiring from the street … don’t let this put you off, the dining areas are... More

Food was excellent, service was better. We had great views of the setting sun. The tuna tartare was one of the best appetizers I have ever eaten.

We had a great dinner at Barefoot. You really dine on the beach. The sunset was great and very romantic. The setting is surpassed by the service and food. Mario was our waiter. He was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and well prepared. Great wine service - it amazes me on how many restaurants can't do a... More

We had made reservation a few weeks in advance as we wanted to ensure we were able to eat but especially to see the sunset. Wow, quite a view and as the restaurant's name Barefoot, you actually eat barefoot in the sand, a white sand, no bugs just amazing. I would suggest you reserve for 6:00 pm if you want... More

Aruba is all about the fabulous beaches during the day, and the many great restaurants at night. It is only logical that these two unique things of Aruba are combined into one! Luc & Gerco found the perfect spot to synergize great food, and a beautiful setting to create an experience almost unique on our island. When listening to the ocean caressing the shore, while wiggling your toes through the pearly white sand, why not let yourself be pampered by a gourmet dinner? Chef Gerco & Maitre d' Luc had a shared dream of opening up a restaurant here, but wanted something in line with what they enjoy on Aruba: the nearly perfect climate, the possibility to always be outside, the tropical feel... When opening their restaurant, they had these ideas in their heads, and it worked like a charm! Tables under a large palapa on a wooden deck with a view of the ocean, or outside under the Aruban nights sky, on the pristine beach... An original menu was created by Gerco and team, with some of the old school favorites as well as locally influenced dishes. With the help of the local wine suppliers, Luc made an extensive wine list, with wines from all over the world, and is always ready to pair a wine with your dinner. The experienced service team is friendly yet professional, ready to wow you from the moment you walk in, to make a fabulous evening into a great memory on Aruba!
