This is a great place! The staff are very friendly. Rocky is a character and great front of house. The owner, Jose, came out and chatted and originally hails from Madeira. His food is outstanding and we would return over and over. Try the sangria and the seafood is amazing.

We visit Aruba often and like to seek out more local and less touristy restaurants. Well, we came upon a treasure with Gostoso, a mixture of authentic Portuguese, Aruban and some Asian influences. The owner of the restaurant, Jose was warm and welcoming. Rocky, our waiter was attentive and engaging. The food was phenomenal and we felt like we were... More

Super friendly husband/wife owners who take pride in their preparation and plating of very unique dishes. Love the Shrimp in Pink Sauce in an Avocado!

We visited Gostoso for dinner. We rented a car and used GPS to get there and there were many twists and turns to get there. We arrived at 6:30pm without a reservation and thankfully we were one of the first groups there for dinner and we were able to get a table. The service from the staff is excellent. The... More

Came based on the recommendations of a friend that recently visited Aruba. It was early on a Tuesday night so I thought we'd get by without a reservation. When we got there, only two other tables were seated. My wife walked in first with our 2 daughters (11 & 15) while I parked the car. The hostess asked her if... More

This restaurant could have been really good, but it just missed the mark a bit. The proprietor is so nice, but he really needs to delegate more. He would take every order himself, tell every special (and there were MANY) to each table himself, oversee the firing of the orders himself, and nothing could get started until he did that.... More

My husband and I tried out Gostoso one evening. We had the carni and lenga stoba, respectively. Both were delicious and well prepared, but in essence, stews. We also had the fried Funchi (polenta) as a side and the exquisite chocolate cake for dessert. The restaurant is a bit out of the way, but well worth the travel. Although the... More

Both times over a two week period less then two months ahead of time Gostoso asked us to call back and refused our... More

The location is about 15 minute drive from palm beach in a mostly residential location. There is some parking there but not a lot. As soon as we stepped in we were treated like family. The restaurant was not crowded (the food is so good it should be). We first ordered 2 sangrias which were delicious. My wife had the... More
